Witches, Famiy Renunion, Boyfriend and Spider-Man? 2

I was laughing as I watched dad and Steve joke around at the Avengers Compound during a three day holiday when I heard heavy footsteps making me turn to see Nick Fury.

"Nick, so good to see you again,"

"You as well, Pearl. I see your father is integrating back into society and with the Avengers,"

"He has. It's been. Difficult but we're managing. Have you found anything about that book dad mentioned?"

"That's part of why I'm here, actually. THAT team found it," He said as he pulled it out of his trench coat. I stared at the red book with the star on it before I took it from him.

"Send them my thanks,"

"I will,"

"What brings you here?"

"I have two missions for you and Miss Jones. Well actually one for Miss Jones and two for you," he said and I nodded.

"Let's go talk in my lab," I said and he nodded before we walked away. We got to my lab and I sat the book down.

"FRIDAY, lockdown Fury Mission, protocol Queen Witch," I said.

"Right away, Pearl," FRIDAY said before the windows of my lab turned black, I heard the door lock, the vents close before a password keypad appeared on my table, indicating that FRIDAY was off but to put the password in to turn her on when we were finished.

"Impressive,"

"Hm. What are the missions?"

"I'm sure you are aware of the murders going around now,"

"The ones that the police are saying are some sort of rabid animals hiding in the sewers?"

"Yes,"

"I figured it wasn't a rabid animal. What's up?"

"They started up shortly after the new student arrived at your school. Befriend him and find out if he's behind it,"

"Black Widow the mission?"

"Don't kill him unless you have to,"

"Okay," I said with a shrug as I took the file from him and scanned it before closing it and setting it down.

"The second mission?"

"Find out the identity of this so-called, Spider-Man,"

"Should be easy enough. So when do you want updates?"

"Once a week will do unless something new happens,"

"Got it," I said as I took the other file from him and sat it down.

"Will that be all, Nick?"

"That'll be all, Pearl," he said and I nodded before I put the password in and the lockdown was lifted and he walked out. I grabbed my phone and text 'Chelle that we had a mission to find out who Spider-Man was.

"Sounds easy enough,"

"That's our shared mission,"

"What's your solo mission?"

"See if the new kid is behind the murders going around lately,"

"Black Widow the situation?"

"I asked and Nick said to not kill him unless absolutely necessary,"

"Okay,"

"Phil's team found dad's book,"

"Have you read it?"
