Chapter 41 - Reunited

You and the other three made it to the hospital and were now finding Lingard's office.

Gabe: Can they really hit targets over a mile away?

Ava: Not these, but some models can.

You all stopped in front of a door.

Ava: He should be in there, and it's best if he doesn't see these guns. He and David might be close, but he still apart of Richmond's leadership consul. I'll watch them out here.

Gabe: I'll keep watch too.

Javi: Alright, we won't be long.

You both walked in and you see Lingard knocked out in a chair. You heard someone to the right of you. You turn your head to see who it was.

Y/N: Clem?

She gasps and turns around.

Clementine: Y/N! You're okay!

She runs at you and holds you tight, you wanted to hug her back, but the pain coming from your arm stops you.

Clementine: Oh, shit! What happened to you?

Y/N: That stupid fucking kid. Being an idiot.

Clementine: That looks like it hurts.

Y/N: I came to get it treated, but it looks like Lingard isn't gonna be helping.

Clementine: You two surprised me. I thought you were someone else.

Javi: Looking for something?

Clementine: I know it looks bad, but I'm trying to find clues about AJ's whereabouts.

Javi walks up to Lingard.

Javi: I don't think he cares about what you're doing.

He checks his pulse.

Javi: He's alive. Poor bastard.

Clementine: You know, Y/N. I can stitch up that cut for you.

You smirked.

Y/N: Finally repaying me for what happened in that shed, huh?

Clementine: I thought you said I didn't need to repay you?

Y/N: I know. I'm just joking. I'd really appreciate it if you did stitch this up, though.

Clementine: You already know I would. No matter what.

You smiled as she walks over to some cabinets.

Clementine: We just need some needle and thread for that.

She suddenly groans and holds her stomach.

Javi: Clem... are you okay?

Clementine: I'm fine... It's just I started... bleeding... I know "it's" a thing. I've traveled with women and they all had it...

Y/N: I don't see the problem? Just bandage it up, we've done it before.

Clementine: No... It's different, Y/N. It's in... uh...

Javi: Y/N, she's talking about something different.

Clementine: Javi, do you know why... it's...

Javi: It's normal, Clem... It means that you're... blossoming into... your... you know, womanhood. Thing's change and uh... you'll be fine.

Clementine: Okay...

Javi: I can take you back to Kate. She can help you with uh...

Clementine: Javi, let's just worry about Y/N right now. We need some needle and thread for his cut.
