The Chosen

Divulging Data: Part 1

After lunch, all of them occupied the very large living room. Quite interestingly, all members of the Chosen Squad were sitting on one side of the room while all of SVT's members were facing them, their smiles evident in their faces.

"Uhmmm... Is anything wrong?" Kuanlin broke the awkward silence.

"Nothing. Nothing at all." Seungkwan replied.

"Then can we ask, if you don't mind, why are you staring at us like that." Daehwi trying to find out the reason.

"Like S.Coups and Woozi said earlier, we are really interested about the Chosen. If you don't mind, can you show us your marks again? Pretty please..." Dino requested as all the members of SVT nodded their head, indicating that they share the same sentiments with Dino.

"Of course, they would be happy too. Just exclude me though, I have no mark. I am just your humble Seer Successor." Daniel smiled as he granted SVT's plea.

Sungwoon, Daehwi, Kuanlin and Jisung, once again, displayed their marks for SVT to see. All SVT members were like children in a candy store as they got closer to the four and closely observed each of the marks, like studying for an examination. Low gasps of oohs and aahs were heard until the thirteen went back to where they seated. As some sort of an encore, the four Chosen unanimously decided, with the help of Sungwoon's telepathy, to make their marks glow before covering them up.

"Wow. Thank you for showing us your marks to us. It's a tremendous honor." Vernon thanked the four in behalf of the group.

"This is such an amazing experience!" Jun exclaimed.

"By the way, don't you guys have duties to do?" Jisung inquired.

"Nope. We were just informed that all our duties are temporarily reassigned to the other troop, Newest. We are your personal assistants as of the moment." Mingyu elaborated.

"Thank you for that and the other troop." Daniel commented.

"If you want to pay Newest a visit, just tell us. We can always drop by their official residence, L.O.˄.E." Wonwoo offered.

"Thanks for the offer." Daniel replied.

"By the way, can we know what your powers are?" Dino, the youngest in SVT, asked the Chosen Squad. His question was given a thumbs-up by his other members.

"Well, this might come as a shock to you, but our collective of powers, so far, is not that impressive yet." Jisung said, "I have basic Telekinesis."

"Mine is Healing." Daehwi answered after Jisung.

"I can teleport. Mine is called Sparkling." Kuanlin mentioned.

"I have Telepathy. Somehow, my Telepathy can let me replicate someone else's powers." Sungwoon shared his abilities.

"Those powers sound amazing already. I could only imagine what would it be like when all eleven Chosen are gathered." Joshua praised.

"Now that you know our powers, might we know yours?" Daniel queried.

"Of course. Should we demonstrate?" S.Coups responded.

"No need. We have this book. We will just look for your entries and read it. All you need to do is listen and verify the accuracy of the information written. Otherwise, feel free to correct or add on the data." Daniel showed them Light.

"Sure. Go ahead. I am curious what they have written about us." Jeonghan was interested.

"If you don't mind, I will start with Newest, then SVT. You know, save the best for last." Daniel informed SVT.

Daniel flipped the pages until he was at the entry of Newest. He cleared his throat as a sign that he will start reading.

Newest is a magical troop of Disple province. They are composed of five members.

· JR (Leader) – Atmokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate all aspects of weather at will. He is known to be able to access Aerokinesis and Electrokinesis through this power.

· Baekho – Super Strength: The power of having magically augmented physical strength and stamina.

· Aron – Psammokinesis: The ability to create and control sand.

· Ren – Hydroportation: A form of teleportation in which the user is turned into water before teleporting. His water is quite unique as he teleports in water that is colored Deep Teal and Vivid Pink.

· Minhyun – Premonition: The ability to receive a vision of the past, present and future of an object or person. His trigger is touch.

"So far so good. Please continue to our entry." The8 was curious as well.
