Dear Cedric,

I remember the last words I said to you. 'Don't go dying on me Ced.' Ironic isn't it. I should've said something more inspiring or at least a 'good luck.' But of course I had to be the fool that told you not to die.

You laughed after I said that. Back then death seemed like such a foreign concept, like death was miles away. Now death has arrived on the pupils of Hogwarts, like a painful looming grey cloud that floats above us all waiting till the day it will take us.

After you died I tried to figure out where to place the blame. At first I thought it was Harry Potters's fault, I thought he should've died instead. I mean Harry wasn't even meant to be in the tournament.

But then I came to my senses, Harry didn't ask for this. He doesn't deserve to die anymore than you do. So I decided Dumbledore's the one to blame. He knew. He fucking knew You-know-who was coming back and didn't even try to save you.

He let an innocent boy die and I will never. Never. Forgive him for this.

Yours,
Raven
