The next morning I still felt somewhat frustrated with everything that happened the previous day. I was still angry, sad, mad, upset....it was a weird emotion.

I sat up in my bed and yawned, then checked my phone for the time.

12:06 pm

I was about to panic, thinking I was late for school, and then I suddenly remembered that I was suspended for two weeks. Great.

I didn't really have anything to do for two weeks. I could probably do some online courses, but of course, I didn't want to at all. Two weeks could give me some time to think. To think about my future, to think about how I'm supposed to graduate, and how I'm gonna afford moving to Seoul if I do.

I had fourteen days until I had to return to school, so I might as well use them while I still could.

Then a notification popped up on my phone, making me jump.

It was a text from Dahyun.

I immediately clicked on the notification without hesitation.

My heart rate started to increase, and my hands were shaking again.
Was she ok? Did she hate me? Did she still want to be friends? Thoughts clouded my head as I read the text:

I stared at my phone, blankly. The text was from over 2 hours ago, to my surprise.

Dahyun wasn't mad. She wasn't upset, or angry with me. She still wanted to be friends. I was suddenly feeling better about everything that happened the day before. About how maybe beating the shit out of Nayeon was a good idea.

I put my phone down and stood up, then opened my closet.

My mother wasn't home at the time, but I was grounded and wasn't aloud to leave the house until my suspension ended.

But this would be worth it. I didn't care if my mother got even more mad at me for disobeying her. I didn't even care if she kicked me out of the house.

I changed into some black ripped jeans and an oversized black T-shirt, then left my room all within 10 minutes.

I was standing on my porch once again, wearing the same black leather jacket I wore when I beat up Nayeon.

I closed the door and locked it, the checked the time on my phone.

2:34 pm

All that I did for the past two hours was scrolling through Instagram, and watching some random K-Drama. I didn't really watch tv that much, but I didn't have anything else to do.
