"I Rex Stevens reject you Aurora Michael as my mate"

No sooner had the words left his mouth, I felt intense pain all over my body. The pain was so unbearable I fell to the ground at his feet "this is your position Aurora, bowing my feet, you can never be my mate or my equal, or even a Luna you're worthless". "Please make it stop, please it hurts, just give me a chance, I swear I'll be worth it", I heard the snickers and laughters from the crowd, and their crude words

"she's not good enough",

"she's not even a full wolf"

"she's vain"

"I knew she was badluck and power hungry"

I stared around, "please help me, it hurts, please" I was gasping for breath, I saw a pair of shoes before me and the person squatted, looking up I saw it was my dad "daddy please help", the tears were streaming now, "you're nothing and will never be, no one will bow to you Aurora", with that said he pulled my hair and dragged me out of the gathering towards the wood, people began laughing and I even heard someone say that I deserve to be burnt. "I knew her being here was badluck, can you imagine the crises we'll be in with her as Luna?" This was asked by Lisa. I kept begging, screaming and crying but no one came to my aid. "Jenny Malcolm shall be my mate and you're not to cause any trouble or you'll be banished" I heard Rex saying, the crowd cheered and soon I was dumped on the floor. I tried standing but fell back, looking down I noticed my ankle at an odd angle, "please help..." but I lost consciousness and passed out.

When I came around it was a bit bright because of the moon, and everywhere was quite and deserted, looking down at my wrist watch I saw it was 11:15pm, just 45 mins more to my birthday, limping I move towards my safe Haven, it could at least give me some solace from all the aches. On getting towards the creek I heard laughter and saw a bright light, too bright to be a touch, it looked like that of a bon fire, with that thought I remembered my garden, running even with the pain still wrecking my body.

I got to my garden only to see it in flames and everyone laughing around, Rex and Damien had marshmallows over the fire and Lisa was adding more fuel to the fire. "Nooooooo" I screamed and pitched forward, I grabbed her hands, but she pushed me off, "please stop, leave it alone"  I saw Rex coming towards me, "alpha Rex, please tell them to stop please I'll do anything please, just make them leave" but he only laughed loud, "come on guys, let's leave the bitch to her garden am sure she wants to be alone", with that they left, their laughters fading into the night. I sat down watching the flames die out, there's nothing I can do anymore, it's all gone, my garden, my home, my mate, my sanity, my hope, my solace,everything is all gone. I stood up and ran, even after I crossed the boundaries I kept running, till my poor legs gave out.

It started raining very heavy, I looked up at the moon, it was full and shone very bright, why great moon goddess, what have i done to deserve all this, what more do you have for me.

Looking at my watch I saw it strike 12 and I felt painful tremors wreck my body, I screamed, my bone were breaking and my skin was stretching, what's happening to me, I thought I can't shit, what's going on with me, is this how I die, I kept screaming and crying, willing the pain to be over as this thoughts bombarded my mind. Soon my screams were growls and my bones were adjusting, I heard a twig snap and turned "who's there please I need help am dying" a hooded figure stood before me with glowing blue eyes, from the shape I could see it was a woman, "no dear child, you're shifting not dying", I growled more and soon all I cold see was red, blood red, I shook my head, only for me to notice that I had paws not hands, I tried standing but fell, looking up at the woman I noticed she had moved back, I wanted to beg her to stay but I couldn't speak. She motioned for me to stay still and when a much bigger wolf jumped out of the forest followed by a huge man "Celine what happened I heard your scream in my head", the man asked , they all turned to look at me, as the woman came forward I moved backwards "I won't hurt you dear" she said while still coming forward, when she was close enough she stroked my wet furs, "you're safe Aurora, you're safe" with that I lost consciousness again.
