Alveera's POV:

As I reached my room I saw a smirking Sarif leaning against the door.

"Did you both just confess your undying love for each other?", was the first thing he said.
I couldn't understand what he was saying and then I realized that he might have seen as kissing and my eyes widen.

"Of course not."

"You should be happy that it was just me who saw you both." I didn't reply and opened my door and stepped in and turned around to talk to him.

"What's going on between you two?", he asked.

I sighed and said, "I don't know myself what is going on and it is just making me mad."

"You know what", he said with a look of concern on his face, "it is better to die once than to die daily."

I knew exactly what he was saying, but I can't confess my feelings to Xanir.

"I don't want to ruin our friendship, even if I love him so much that it hurts and can't just risk being it."

"I know you can't risk your friendship but I feel bad to see you like this", he seemed to think for a moment before he spoke again, "Wish I could tell what I see in his eyes for you."

I looked at him in confusion and frowned, "What do you mean?"

"Goodnight Alveera", he said ignoring my question and walking away.

What does he know? Did Xanir tell him something? Aargh! My head started to pain, I had enough for the day and sighing I went off to sleep.

The next morning I woke up early and as I walked out of my room I could sense the tension in the air because of what happened last night. I already told my parents that I didn't want to marry Zaire but they never listened and now their so called 'reputation' was ruined but I didn't care about it.

Walking into the kitchen I saw Xanir already having his breakfast and I smiled at him which he returned.
Taking my breakfast I joined him.

"How about we go out for lunch today", he spoke suddenly as he looked at me hopefully.

"I don't think so that it would be a good idea after what happened yesterday, it won't look nice if we celebrate."

"Come on, everyone knows that you were being forced into all this and I don't think so that if you will celebrate then it would concern them", he said, "And I am leaving tomorrow." Leaving?

"You are leaving?"

"I think you forgot about the series between Australia and India and as far as I know you should be also coming unless your boss decided to fire you."

"Why would my boss fire me? I am going, I just forgot", I told him.

"So...about the lunch?"

I thought for a while and said, "But this time, I am paying the bills."

"Wouldn't that be too ungentle to do?", he asked with a pout.

"For your kind information we are not talking about cricket, this just a lunch", I said with a pout imitating him.

"Did someone say lunch?", Sarif suddenly said appearing out of no where. He came and joined us at the table.

"Yes, we are going out for lunch", Xanir said rolling his eyes.

"Oh wow, then I am also coming", he exclaimed and I gave him a glare and a look that said 'no you are not'.
I had no problem with him but as Xanir was leaving tomorrow I just wanted to spend some time with him, alone.
