"Hey...can I see him?" Vix asked
"Sorry..." Liana said
"I need to see my brother please" Vix said
"He needs to rest. He's suffered a demon's curse but I think I got those shadows out of him" Liana said
"I-I understand..." Vix said and walked away from the door and sighed
"Vix? Is everything okay?" Kori asked
"That woman won't let me see him..." Vix said and looked down. Kori looked at him and smiled
"Relax Vix. He'll wake up soon" Kori said as he smiled at him
"I-I hope so..." Vix said
"Hey...uh so how are you doing with your mate? Is everything going alright?" Kori asked
"Hahaha yeah. Arch is a very nice man and I really...l-love him" Vix said as he blushed
"Hehe I could tell. Your face is all flustered" Arch said
"Wait...what? I-it is?" Vix asked as he blushed even more
"Oh relax. No need to be embarrassed" Kori said as he smiled at him
"Heh thanks" Vix said
"Are you going to see him?" Kori asked
"Y-yeah I'm on my way to see him" Vix said
"Okay. Anyways I'll be staying here for a bit and check on Sen if he wakes up" Kori said
"Okay" Vix said and walked away. He looked down and sighed
Sen...what is going on in your mind right now?
"Hey Vix. Is everything okay with your brother?" Arch asked
"Uh...not really. He hasn't woken up yet which...concerns me a lot" Vix said as he looked down
"Don't worry so much Vix. It'll be alright. Liana knows what she's doing" Arch said as he held his hand and smiled
"Thanks for helping me...I just don't know what to feel about all this. Sen is still hiding something from me...I just know it. My father still won't say anything and I bet he knows a lot more than I do right now. I'm honestly confused with all this going on and after the attack...I just wish I had been there for him" Vix said
"Sen is strong. He'll make it through" Arch said and kissed his forehead softly. Vix's ears perked up and blushed deeply
"I-I love you" Vix said
"Love you too. Let's go got a small walk" Arch said as he smiled softly
"O-okay" Vix said. The two guys walked out of the castle and went for a walk
"Hey! The gay boys!" Nitski said
"Nitski..." Hana said
"Haha! Oh come on. It's just a little joke" Nitski said and giggled
"Sorry about this bitch" Hana said
"Ah don't worry. It's alright" Vix said
"See? He said it was okay. Anyways how is your little bro doing?" Nitski asked
"He is still sleeping..." Vix said
"He hasn't woken up? Damn...it must be serious then" Hana said
"What? Serious?" Vix asked
"I mean if he hasn't woken up then...it must be serious right?" Hana asked
"How the hell should I know? I'm not a fucking demon" Nitski said
"Wait...but isn't the missing princess here? We could ask her" Hana said
"Ah you're right" Nitski said
"What? Wait can we see her? Maybe she can help my brother wake up" Vix said
"Uh...I guess" Nitski said
"Please! My brother needs help" Vix said
"Okay okay. I guess we could go and pay for a small visit if you'd like" Hana said
"Okay. Let's go idiots" Nitski said as she guided the two boys towards the forest to find the princess
"She's here?" Vix asked as he looked around
"Yeah she is around here somewhere I think" Nitski said as she looked on the ground. She looked around until she found a small hole
"Oh there she is" Nitski said
"That's where she lives?" Vix asked as he trembled a bit
"Scared?" Nitski asked
"Don't worry. She isn't so bad" Arch said
"I-I'm not scared just...surprised. That's all" Vix said
"Hahaha yeah. Anyways...princess! We're coming in!" Nitski shouted and jumped inside the hole
"Let's go inside" Hana said as she slid in
"Uh...how am I suppose to fit in there?" Vix asked
"Just hop inside" Arch said as he held his hand then the two guys hopped inside the hole. They got inside the cave and soon the torches lit up as a huge shadow with red glowing eyes spoke
"What are you all here for? What business do you hav-"
"Maruta! I'm hungry!" Mitsuko said from the other room. Maruta groaned and shifted back to normal as she made her shadow vanish then sighed
"What do you need?" Maruta asked
"See? She isn't scary at all" Nitski said
"If you're here to waste my precious time then...fuck off" Maruta said
"Uh...we came to talk about my brother" Vix said
"Oh...you're talking about your brother" Maruta said
"Y-yeah" Vix said
"Oh right. He got affected by that demon curse thing" Maruta said
"He hasn't woken up and...well it shouldn't take this long to recover from something like that...right?" Vix asked
"Well...it depends on the person. We use that little curse to destroy our victim's mind. If the person has gone through a terrible trauma then it'll be easier to destroy the victim. Especially since they've gone through so much pain...if your brother went through a terrible trauma then...of course it'll affect him the most. He will wake up but...I'm not sure if he'll be the same person as you knew him" Maruta said and started to walk away heading to the entrance of her actual home
"Hey! Wait up" Vix said as he followed her inside the room and arrived to a different place
"Eh? Taniguchi?" Vix asked
"Oh hey everyone" Mitsuko said as she rested on the couch
"What the hell are you doing here?" Hana asked
"Haha! Did you get fucked?" Nitski giggled
"Well I-"
"Don't answer that. Anyways she's just passing by. So now I answered your question so please leave" Marura said
"B-but what do you mean a trauma? Sen has never gone through something bad" Vix said
"Listen...maybe your brother has been lying to you the entire time" Maruta said
"What do you mean lying? He never lies" Vix said
"Then ask him when he wakes up. Now please leave...before I make you all leave" Maruta said as her eyes flashed a red color
"Yes princess. Now let's get going" Hana said as she grabbed Nitski and the two boys out of the cave
"W-wait! But what can I do to help him or talk to him?" Vix asked
"That's your problem. Not mine" Maruta said before her shadows pushed the small group out of her home
"Ugh...thanks a lot" Vix groaned as he sat up
"Well...I guess she somewhat helped" Arch said as he stood up then helped Vix
"Damn...can't believe she treats her guests like that" Nitski said
"She is a demon after all" Hana said
"So...my brother went through some childhood trauma or something like that?" Vix asked
But...he's never mentioned anything about that kind of stuff to me. Has he...been lying this entire time then?
