"The stars look pretty tonight," Nia sighed with a dreamy gaze as she looked up to admire the night skies.
"they..." pausing, you shifted your attention from Nia towards the sky, squinting confusedly, "they look the same just as the night before," you mumbled, giving her a puzzled look.
Nia stops, and merely blinked at you, "you're supposed to say I'm prettier," she says in a serious tone.

you were about to apologize, thinking you may have upset her unintentionally, but all your words were thrown out the window when she grabs you by your collar and pulls you in for a kiss.
startled, a muffled yelp escapes your lips but almost immediately, you melted into the kiss, as you always do.
when Nia pulls away, you're both lightly huffing for air, and she gives a chuckle after you're both recovered.
"But I know, you already know that." Nia winked, leaving you dazed, a smug grin was plastered on her face as she nonchalantly went back to admiring the night sky.
