Chris's POV

I was still speeding down the road tryna get home i was heated my legs were shaking

*BOOM*

Out of no where i see a car coming my way a turn the car wheel causing me to run off of the road and the car to flip 2 times

I felt the airbag come out before everything went black

I woke up with a mean ass headache in a all white room the room was very familiar so once i opened my eyes i noticed I was at a hospital

I sat up held my head for a minute since it was hurting so bad

I heard the door open and looking up to my surprise seeing Khelani

Not gone lie she looked good as hell

"Um can i get a doctor in here he's up" she said sticking her head outside the room door

"Why are you hear" i asked her laying back down

"They called me and told me to come down here because she had just been in a car accident and that you were speeding" she said

"Why were you speeding" she addled

"Don't worry about it go worry about your child" i told her feeling salty all over again

"You know you're mad for no reason Chris she is your child" she said

"Nah no she not i been in jail down here allll alone by myself" i said making sure the last part stood out the most

She laughed

"Ion see nothing funny" I said

"Chris you ch-" she was saying but got cut off by the doctor walking in

"Oh hey Mr.Jones you're awoke i see" she said

"Obviously" i said sarcastically i was ready to get the hell out of here

The doctor laughed "well um lets see you should be able to leave tonight but y-" she was saying but i cut her off

"Good" i said sitting up slipping on my shoes

I stood up and fell right back down in pain

"You will have back pains and when you stand up without help you will fall back down and your headaches for the next 3 days will be bad so you would need someone to stay with you for those 3 days" the doctor said

"You will need to have the person staying with you during the 3 days to come up here in 30 minutes so we can tell her what's going on" the doctor also said

I rolled my eyes looking at Kehlani

"Her her right there she gone stay with me" i said pointing at Khe

I had a lot of questions and i wanted to see my son so why not

"Well ok ma'am follow me" the doctor said leaving out

The car ride to my house was silent i was getting tired of it

"Wheres my son" i asked

"Our son and he is somewhere that you not obviously" she said turning up her music

"Fucking bitch" i mumbled

"Ya moms say my guy speak up" she said laughing

I just looked out the window ready to get home

I felt her stopping somewhere i looked up and we was at her dad house

"Why we here mane im ready to go home" i asked

"Nigga what imma do with my kids my dad nem leaving to go somewhere tmr for a week" she said getting out

I watched her walk in she must've was in there for a while because when she got back outside i was sleep but i heard kids

I looked at the back and saw the little girl sleeping and Cortez eyes glued to his tablet

I tapped on the tablet screen getting his attention he looked up and his eyes lit up so much

"Da" he said hugging me

"Wassup man" i said as he started asking lots of questions talking my head off

Khelani's POV

"Da where were you anyways" Cortez asked Chris

Chris looked at me and i looked the other way continuing to drive

"Um i was at a place where people that do bad things go" he said

"So you a bad guy da" Cortez asked

"Naw son im just a guy that did bad things" i said turning back around" i said

"What did you do" he asked

"It's another story for another day" i said as we pulled up to the new house i bought once i got out of jail

"Damn this niceee" i heard Khe say under her breath
