The clouds past by as my face was pressed against the window. I tried to block out the nonsense coming from the television, going on and on about what happened last night. I wanted to forget the whole ordeal, but the internet is saying no.
'It's just unbelievable. It proves that the genie is out of the bottle and this man has no idea what he's doing. He thinks of the Iron Man weapon as a toy. I was at a hearing where Mr Stark, in fact, was adamant that these suits can't exist anywhere else, don't exist anywhere else, never will exist anywhere else, at least for five to ten years, and here we are in Monaco realising, These suits exist now' some extra batted on the news, making me roll my eyes into oblivion.
This was pointless. Everyone was trying to take away his suit, and since they couldn't they'd find any excuse possible. They were acting like children.
I hate the government. Is there a proper reason? Not really, I just do. I get this uneasy feeling when I'm around them. Like their hiding something. I don't trust them, but then again I don't trust anybody.
"Mute," Tony muted the screen before placing three plates in front of us. "He should be giving me a medal. That's the truth"
"What is that?" Pepper raised her brow.
"This is your in-flight meal" he smiled unveiling three charred omelettes.
I glanced down at the excuse of a meal. It was still better then most of my meals at Shield, "Did you just make that?" I smirked.
"Yeah. Where do you think I've been for three hours?" He sat next to Pepper.
"Tony, what are you not telling us?" She asked.
He sighed, "I don't want to go home. At all. Let's cancel my birthday party and..... We're in Europe. Let's go to Venice, Cipriani. Remember?" He smiled.
"Oh, yes" Pepper rolled her eyes.
"It's a great place to be healthy, and I think the kid would enjoy it right?" He asked me.
I shrugged in agreement picking up my meal and took a bite... I immediately regretted it.
"I don't think this is the right time. We're in kind of a mess" Pepper explained and I also shrugged in agreement, slowly sneaking my meal under my seat.
"Yeah, but maybe that's why it's the best time. 'Cause then we can..." He tried to convince her (it didn't work).
"Well, I think as the C.E.O I need to show up" She told him.
"As C.E.O, you are entitled to a leave"
"A leave?" I crossed my arms.
"A company retreat"
"A retreat? During a time like this?" Pepper scoffed.
"Just a ride. Well, I'm just saying, to recharge our batteries and figure it all out"
"Not everybody runs on batteries Tony" she sighed.
I looked away at that comment, because I had no rebuttal. In that moment I couldn't think of one singular comeback. All I could think was, low blow girl, low blow.

One thing I've learned being a super clone, spy, under cover operative, piece of property and kid is... getting bored is super hard. I was not used to this.
