"What are these?" I asked my girlfriend

"it's just a few gifts, go pick them" she giggled

I made my way over to the floating balloons that had small boxes tied around the strings. My hands gripped the thread and tugged it down, unraveling the box

"This is adorable" I laughed as my eyes came into contact with a demon shaped pendant

"Open the next one" she smiled, I nodded and grabbed ahold of the next balloon

"Where did you even get this" I laughed at the sword pendant

"It's just goofy stuff, I know you like your chains" she smiled, I chuckled and kissed her forehead

"Chase is waiting outside, let's go" she said, I nodded and we made our way through the balloon and confetti filled lobby. My eyes landed on the man braced against the black Cadillac

"Happy birthday Miss Amon" Chase greeted me with a wide smile

"Thank you" I replied, the man pulled a small box from behind his back. I furrowed my brows

"It's a gift, take it" he chuckled, I quickly unraveled the box to see

"Melanie Martinez Merch! AHHHHHH" I screamed and attacked the driver

He laughed as I hugged him tightly, squealing into his shirt. This is freaking amazing!

It's my birthday Sarah, shut the hell up. I pulled away from Chase and we both held the biggest grin money could buy

"I'm glad you like it"

"I love it" I pouted and held the bright pink sweater in my hands, pulling it to my chest

"I would drag this on right now" I laughed

"Why don't yo-"

"Yes, yes I will" I said, I dragged the sweater over my Billie Eilish hoodie. It fitted perfectly and even gave my clothing an interesting style

"Come on, let's go" Aelia giggled and hopped into the car

The car drive went on for a few minutes, Chase and I talked about some stuff while Aelia had a wicked smile on her face the entire drive. I wondered what the hell she had up her sleeve

"Where are we?" I asked as Chase opened the door

"A restaurant" she smiled

"What the? Look at how I'm dressed! I can't go into a restaurant looking like this?!"

"It's okay, I called in already. I know you'd wanna wear something you're comfortable with all day" she laughed and intertwined our fingers

"You're amazing" I smiled and kissed the side of her head

"Yeah, I know" she said in a sassy tone and threw her imaginary hair over her shoulder. I laughed and we made our way into the building

Upon entering, I was greeted by the heavenly smell of Italian food. Aelia spoke to the employee and got us our seats. The unique textured walls produced a smooth yet flowing look, the viny plants ran along the wall to give it a more natural appearance. The marbled tile floor beneath me gave the restaurant a more warm and clean look.

The host had gentle eyes as he led us towards our table. My brows furrowed when I noticed there were three chairs. I turned to face Aelia

"Don't worry about it sweetheart" she smiled
