You looked down the bell tower. It was long, narrow, and scary.
Y/N: I don't think I can do this.
Clementine starts climbing down.
Clementine: Just climb down the same you climbed up.
Y/N: It's not as easy because I'll be looking down the whole time.
Clementine: Well, you're not staying up here.
Y/N: Fine.
You climbed down with her, and it was ten times scarier than climbing up, but you made it down in one place.
Y/N: Phew! I don't think I wanna do that again.
Clementine pouts at you.
Clementine: I thought you wanted to go back up with me sometime?
Y/N: Ah shit, I promised that, didn't I?
Clementine: Yeah, you sure did.
Y/N: Fuck. Well, you know I can't stay no to you.
She smiles and kisses your cheek.
Clementine: Thanks.
Ruby walks up to you.
Ruby: Oh! There you two are! What's taking you guys so long?
She playfully shoves you.
Clementine: Scaredy-cat here was taking too long to climb down the tower.
Y/N: Hey!
Ruby: And here I thought nothing scared you. Anyway, it's time for you guys to go on lookout. AJ's already waiting for you two up there.
Y/N: Thanks. We'll get on it.
You and Clementine walked over to the watch tower.
Clementine: You think you can handle climbing this?
You laugh.
Y/N: Oh, fuck off.
She giggles as she climbs the ladder. You climb after her, and like Ruby said, AJ is already up there, binoculars in hand.
AJ: Oh, hey Clem! Y/N!
Y/N: What's up, kiddo?
He looks back into the binoculars.
AJ: The raiders... That one guy... with one arm.
Y/N: Able? What about him?
AJ: He's gonna be with them.
Clementine: AJ... are your bad dreams about him?
AJ: Yeah... Can I swear yet?
Clementine: No. Come on, kiddo. Quit asking.
AJ: But Y/N does it all time!
Clementine: Yes he does and he should stop.
She glares at you.
Y/N: I try to contain myself...! Sometimes...
AJ: I would swear about his stupid head.
Y/N: Oh, I'll do it!
Clementine: No, you will not.
Y/N: Geez. Sorry, mom.
She playfully rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
Clementine: Why don't you try thinking about something else? Let's see uh... try... counting all the monsters you see.
AJ: Okay. It's the same amount as before. Three... four... There's not that much.
