Another week had past, I swear life has been going so quickly at the moment. Riley, Isadora and I were on the way back to Riley's, It was Friday night and we'd decided to have another little party at Farkles house

Lucas and Zay were going to meet us at Riley's once class had finished. We climbed up the fire escape to her bedroom, sitting down lazily on the bay window to catch our breaths

"Anyone hungry?" Riley asked. I nodded, "always" I replied. She got up from the bedroom, leading Isadora and I out to the kitchen where topanga and Cory sat at the kitchen table

"Hey girls! How was school?" Topanga asked sweetly a we took a seat across from her. I shrugged, "Mrs Matthews could you please ask your husband to go easy on me in class. He's always asking me the hard questions" I huff, ignoring Mr Matthews presence

"Yea! And then giving me all the easy ones! I think you have your students mixed up" Isadora joined in. Topamga looked between us and her husband "I have a feeling that's on purpose" she chuckled. 

Cory nodded, "it is, it tests maya's brain and it lets Isadora not have to answer for once" he replied. I was about to protest before the door behind us flew open, "heyyyy kiddies!" An all too familiar voice said from the door

"Uncle josh!" Auggie jumped up from the couch and leaped into his arms. Josh greeted him, his eyes flickering back over to us at the table "my brother!" He opened his arms, "My brother!" Cory replied hugging him

"Mrs Cory, Niece, smart girl and maya" he nodded to us. I pouted, "I don't get a nickname then, I see" I hissed. He chuckled, "well what do you want me to call you?" He smirked

Riley hit his arm "she has a boyfriend" she mumbled. Josh' face fell "you do?" He looked over to me. I nodded just in time for a knock at the door "oh! And what perfect timing he has!" I reply in my best brutish accent, standing up from the table and heading over to the door

Opening it, Zay and Lucas stood by the door "who's ready to get d-" Zay cheered before being cut off by Lucas "dirty! Who's ready to get dirty..at the art class we are taking.." he trailed off, nodding his head to Riley's parents who sat at the table across the room

"Ahh hi!" I squealed, my arms fixating around his neck and pulling him into a hug "hey beautiful" he replied, his hands finding my waist momentarily before releasing me and following Zay over to the others

"Lucas this is Topanga, Riley's mom and Mr Matthews' wife" I introduced them. Lucas smiled, doing that same weird formal cheek thingy that him and my mom did at my party "nice to meet you" he replied

Topanga smiled "you too" she replied before going on to meet Zay. Lucas shook Mr Matthews hand again, they've met a few times now. The lodge and the remembrance ceremony.

"Uh Luc, this is Josh..Riley's uncle" I gesture to the brunette standing awkwardly with Auggie attached to his back. Lucas shook his hand, a kind, yet I could tell it was fake, smile on his face "Lucas" he replied

"So uh how'd you two meet?" He asked, adjusting Auggie on his back. "At the lodge, he's part of the college helpers" I replied. Josh raised his eyebrows slightly "Ohh so you're in college.? That makes you..?" He asked

"21" lucas replied simply. Josh nodded "Yep, see I wasn't just a little kid that was 3 years younger to this one" I state sarcastically, watching as the tension grew between the 3 of us

"Anyway let's go talk to the others" I wrapped my hand around Lucas' arm, tugging him away from josh. Lucas softly smiled awkwardly to him "nice meeting you" he stated. Josh nodded, "You too" he replied..
