"Danae , ion feel like going to no type of party tonight. I'm tryna stay home.." I said to Danae over the phone.

She's been tryna persuade me into going to this party for the past 15 minutes & each time she asks , I tell her ass no.

"You've been in the house & you have nothing to do! Milan pleaseeee!"

"I enjoy my own company. Plus you know half the people that's bouta be at this party , ion fuck with."

"I know the exact reason you not tryna go."

"Oh really? Please, tell me."

"Okay , smart ass , you don't wanna go because you know that Meech is gon be there & y'all relationship been a lil Rocky. Am I right... or am I right?"

She was right , but I got too much pride to let her know that.

"No , bitch. Ya not right."

"Keep denying it. Anyways , you going to that party I don't care. I'm picking you up at 8. So be ready."

I rolled my eyes , "fine."

I finally gave in , because I knew I needed to get out of the house & stop being so scared about seeing/talking to Meech.

"I wasn't taking no for an answer anyway. Bye byeee !"

I hung up & sat at the edge of my bed. I already know ima see Meech at the party & I know he gon try & talk to me. I haven't been ignoring him on purpose I just ... okay well yes , I have been.

But ! Only because I was afraid of the outcome on if I found out the truth about Cierra & him. I'm not tryna a find out a nigga been cheating on me , AGAIN.

That would literally break my fucking heart. Especially since before Meech was my boyfriend , he was like my bestfriend & this gon mess everything up ..

My thoughts got interrupted as Mekai walked into my room.

"Yo?.." he said. He gave me a slight smile & walked over to sit on my bed.
"Hey.."
"I overheard you talking about going to the party , tonight?"
"You overheard me or you were eavesdropping?"
"Lil bit of both, but ion want you going."
"Huh? Why not?"
"Cuz.. I heard some rumors that it's bouta be some gang on gang beef ova there & ion want you involved. Cuz you & I both know it's gon get hectic"
"Not all rumors are true...plus , I need to get out, Mekai."
"If you wanna take that risk & go .. so be it, but if some shit pop off .. don't say I ain't tell you so."
"Mhm okay. Now , get out. I need to find something to wear."

He shrugged & walked out. Ion know what he tripping about. They prolly not even gon do shit & if they do it's prolly not gon be as chaotic as he making it.

Later that night.

"Mama ! I'm finna leave!" I said to my mom as I was about to walk at the door.

"Be back at 11. No later than that."
"But mamaaa-"
"But mama nothing , Milan. Be glad I'm even letting yo ass get out the house to do something."
"Okay okay! I'll see you later!"

I smiled & walked out the house. Danae has just pulled up. Her music was blasting loud as hell .. as always.

I opened the car door & got in.
"Girl you gon fuck yo eardrums up."
"Ion give a fuccck , but hey sexy. Missed you"
"Missed you too bitch."
"Girl fuck you."
I laughed as I put my seatbelt on. Had to make sure that bitch was on tight too , because Nae be driving reckless asf.

"You nervous?"

"Nah, why would I be?"

"Causeee! You bouta see yo man."

"I'm here to have fun. Not to see Meech."

"Oh I know , but ima make sure y'all talk."

I groaned , because I knew she was gon try & pull some shit..

When we got to the house , it was mad packed. Like , it was hard to even try to walk in. This why I hate house parties it's always crowded as hell.

"Okay , I'm bouta go get some drinks. Aight?" Danae said

"Girl you better not leave me-"
Before I could finish my sentence , she was already gone. I trekked to walk through the crowd to get somewhere so that I wasn't in the middle anymore. 

I needed up standing with my back on the walk , waiting for Danae to come back.

As I stood there , I looked around. Just observing everybody. As I looked to my left , I seen Meech with is friends...of fucking course.

I tired to turn my head so he wouldn't see me , but he definitely caught my eye before I could look away , because he made his way through the crowd & stood in front of me.

He looked down at me & smiled
"Come on, let's talk." He had his hand out , waiting for me to grabbed it
I sighed & grabbed his hand.

We made our way through the crowd & went upstairs to one of the bedrooms. He shut the door & we sat on the bed. I made sure to text Danae and tell her where I was so she wasn't worried.

"So , we gon act like you haven't been ignoring me?"
"I haven't been ignoring you Meech.. I just needed to ... clear my mind."
"Mhm okay. That's what we're calling it now?"
"I just .. I was scared."
"Scared about what , Milan?"
"Finding out the truth about you & Cierra."
"There ain't no me & Cierra , Milan. Fuck is you talkin about?"
"You was acting mad shady when I asked why she was at yo house."
"Cuz I knew you wasn't gon believe shit I was saying."
"Well , I didn't"
"You didn't or you still don't ?"
"I don't know .."

"Milan , I do not have nothing going on with Shordy. You my top priority, Aight ? Ion got shit to do with Cierra. So stop trippin.."

"You're right , I should've-"

Before I could finish talking ..

I was interrupted by gun shots & screams ..
