•I don't have to make you love me, I just wanna take your time•

Hunter walked onto the stage to do soundcheck, and he quite gracefully tripped over someone's foot. That someone reached out and made sure he didn't fall, while also steadying the speaker that was teetering on the edge of the stage.

"I'm so sorry!" He apologized quickly, looking at the person.

Eyes. That's all he thought. Eyes. That green color was so fascinating.

"It's ok. A-are you a-alright?" She stuttered quietly.

"I'm fine, thanks," he said, a dark red blush creeping onto his cheeks.

She nodded and moved the speaker back to its original position. Hunter watched as she walked past him and toward the screen, where one of the technicians was standing.

"I replaced those wires this morning. I knew you had a bunch of other stuff to do," she said to him.

Anna! Her name was Anna, he remembered. And she seemed nice. He shook his head and told the guys what songs they were doing. He informed everyone of the changes that had been made to the show, and then he went to the meet and greet.

"The lights director was just diagnosed with cancer," Lee said.

Lee was the tour manager. He was a nice guy, about six foot four, and very thin.

"Cancer?" Hunter asked.

Lee nodded grimly. "Yeah. But no worries, Anna's got things covered."

"I wasn't worried about the lights Lee," Hunter said, looking down.

"Oh, right. Yeah, it's stage four so... Not good," he told Hunter.

"We should do something for her. Send her flowers. See if she has money for chemo. I'll talk to management later," Hunter told Lee.

Lee just nodded.

"So Anna and Mary are the only people on the lights crew currently, but that's ok because Anna is basically two people. She does more work than anyone, and she barely says a word," Lee informed him.

Hunter nodded. "That's good. That's the kind of people we need."

Anna couldn't believe that an entire month of the tour had already gone by. It was insane. And she was enjoying herself. Well, besides Mary bringing Doug onto their trailer every night. That was obnoxious. But Rafe and Mason were cool, and she loved working with the lights. She also liked how much Hunter changed things throughout the tour, because it made it more interesting to do her job. Anna was currently hanging out with Rafe and Mason in their trailer, because hers was currently occupied by the sex addicts. That's what they had dubbed Mary and Doug.

"So I was thinking about you the other day Annie, and I decided that you and Jason would make a great couple," Rafe told her.

She choked on the sip of coke she had just taken. Once her violent coughs subsided, she looked at him, dumbfounded.

"Jason?!" She asked.

Jason was on Stage Crew, and he was an annoying jerk.

"Yeah. I mean he's good looking, he's nice he-"

"He's laid every girl here!" Anna finished his sentence for him.

Mason looked at her. "Look Annie, let's face it, redheads are rare, and if he caught hold of you I don't think he'd let go."
