I love hanging out with children, as Daniel Radcliff quoted, "It's like having a tiny drunk best friend". I don't have a younger sibling of my own, but children are just so cute and I want to squeeze their little red cheeks and just hug them.

Enjoy!

"Good morning!" The children greeted happily, you and Connie greeted back and guided the giddy tykes inside the building after they all greeted 'bye-bye!' to their parents. Today was another lovely day for activities to do with these youngsters. Being a kindergarten teacher was the best job you and your husband, Connie, could ever think of. Although not having a child of your own, this was fulfulling as it seems. The aura the kids give off always made you and Connie smile, you both loved children.

"Did everyone eat their breakfast properly?" Connie asked.

"Yes!" You and the children replied.

Connie chuckled, "I know you ate your breakfast properly, Ms. (y/n)!"

You giggled and told the children to leave their things on their tables, "Okay, Mr. Connie and I will be teaching you all separately! All the brave little knights will go to Mr. Connie's class and follow him towards the changing room, while the little princesses will stay with me and follow me to the art room!"  You said happily, Connie grabbed a whistle and blew it, making a little jingle. The boys happily followed him outside the room while you lead your own trail of little girls.

"Ms. (y/n)! Ms. (y/n)! What are we going to do?" A little girl asked, holding your hand.

"Well, that's a secret until we reach the art room!" You said.

"Anyone who dresses up the fastest will get a treat!" Connie said before he blew his whistle. The boys went running to their lockers, grabbing their P.E. uniforms and slipped them on, Connie laughed at their adorable agilities and prepared the equipment.

"Mr. Connie! I'm done!" One boy called, Connie turned around and laughed.

"Cedric, your shirt is on the wrong side." Connie said as he helped the latter to rewear his sweat shirt. Cedric smiled and thanked Connie, which he was then given a candy from the said man. Cedric ran back to his own group of friends and shared the candy with them. Connie blew his whistle and called everyone out at the field. He held a soccer ball in one hand and divided the children in two even groups, and the children started playing. With Connie being the referee.

The girls were all giggling as they played with their clay. You sat on a stool and worked on your own clay, you told them to sculp the person they loved the most. They also told you to sculp the person you loved the most and now you were working on Connie's ear. All was going well when you suddenly heard a painful scream. You knocked your chair when you stood up and saw two of your students pulling each other's hair. You immediately ran up to them and tried to carefully pull them apart.

"Annika! Dianne! Stop!" You cried. Luckily, Connie came busting through the door, panting.

"Hey!" Connie yelled. He wrapped two of his arms around the blonde girl, Dianne, and pulled her apart from Annika while you pulled their hands apart.

The two girls were both glaring at each other, yet Annika was sobbing loudly. The rest of the children were quietly staring at them, worry flashed on their faces.

"Why were you two fighting?!" You scolded.

"She started it!" The two girls said in unison.

Connie kneeled down to eye level and held both of their shoulders, "We can't get to the bottom of this if you both blame each other." Connie said as he furrowed his brows, like a parent would do when scolding their child. "Does anyone in the room know what happened?"

All the children shook their heads.

"It was Dianne's fault! She called my sculpture ugly!" Annika sobbed, burying her tear streaked face on your chest. You rubbed her back soothingly.

"Dianne, is this true?" You asked the whimpering girl.

"N-no...!" Dianne shook her head, but when Connie raised his brow, Dianne buried her face on his shoulder, "I-I did...! B-but I was just being...h-h-honest..!"

You and Connie sighed. "Sweetie, there's nothing wrong with being honest." Connie explained.

"And Annika, sometimes you'd just have to face reality. You're still young but you'd understand when you grow up. Dianne just wanted to share her opinion, maybe to others, your sculpture doesn't look ugly. Everyone has their own way of looking at things." You explained. "And did pulling on each others' hair do anything to benefit you both?"

The two girls shook their heads and turned to one another. They apologized and hugged. You and Connie sighed once more.

"Alright, everyone. Let's continue making our sculptures later, okay? For now, it's nap time." You clapped your hands and the children started cleaning their work tables. Connie left to tell the boys that it was time for naps too. You lead your line of girls to the play area while Connie lead his line of boys and they all came running inside and made a fort out of their pillows. When everyone finally fell asleep after telling them a story, you laid down on the floor with a yawn.

"I guess you'd need a nap soon, huh?" Connie whispered, sitting next to you.

"Who knew kids could be such a hassle? And to think there are twenty of them under our care for the whole day!" You giggled, hugging Connie's arm. "But it's fun, don't you think?"

Connie nodded, "I just know you'll be a great mom someday, (y/n)." He bent down to kiss you.

Today was a lovely day at the Kindergarten.

I kinda want to dedicate this chapter to my past Kindergarten teacher. She wasn't at all the worst but she was very close to being the best. Too bad she's gone, may you rest in peace, Ms. Jane. Thanks for accompanying me whenever I didn't have parents to be with during at school.

Unfortunately, I just remembered I'm a finalist in a contest. So I need to memorize this piece by the end of January 4. So until then, maybe, requests are on hold and I'll be in a hiatus after the next chapter or not.

So yeah, Happy Holidays, Trainees!

Christmas Special will be out, someday. I hope.

Until then, be Humanity's Hope, Trainees!

Sylvia-Danchou is out, peace!
