I walked down the hallway looking for the chorus room.

'Advanced Chorus' a door read. I opened the door to see Alicia and Marta standing next to a middle aged man, talking and laughing. I clutched my books to my chest and walked over to them.

"Hey Hayley!" Marta exclaimed, walking over and giving me a strong side hug.

"Hey Marta, Alicia," i replied, placing my stuff on a chair and standing there.

Awkward silence much?

"Braceface, Blonie, you never told me you knew another extrorinary singer!" the middle aged man said standing up and walking over to me.

"Whats your name?" he asked.

"H-Hayley Fisher..." I mumbled.

"Hayley, this is Dewey Finn. He's the leader of School of Rock but he will also be teaching part time as the advanced chorus teacher," Alicia said, planting her hands on her hips "Dewey stop staring at her you creep," Dewey spinned on his heal chuckling and walked over to a piano.

"You play?" he asked. I shook my head 'yes'.

"Front and center!" he exclaimed. I quickly rushed over to him.

"She's the most obidient of all of you," Dewey joked, raising an eyebrow. "Will you play us a song, perhaps sing?"

"N-no thankyou..."

"I can't let you be in this class if you can't sing,"

"I-i can I'm just shy..."

"It's fine girl, just sing!" Alicia yelled, making me sit at the piano.

"Fine." I whispered, placing my hands on the keys. I closed my eyes and began to play.

I had a way then losing it all on my own

I had a heart then but the queen has been overthrown

And I'm not sleeping now, the dark is too hard to beat

And I'm not keeping now, the strength

I need to push me

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when I'm alone

And so I tell myself that

I'll be strong

And dreaming when they're gone

'Cause they're calling, calling, calling me home

Calling, calling, calling home

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when I'm alone Home

Noises, I play within my head

Touch my own skin and hope that

I'm still breathing

And I think back to when my brother and my sister slept

In an unlocked place the only time I feel safe

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when I'm alone

And so I tell myself that I'll be strong

And dreaming when they're gone

'Cause they're calling, calling, calling me home

Calling, calling, calling home

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when I'm aloneHome

Lights, lights, lights, lights

Lights, lights, lights, lights(

Home, home)Lights, lights, lights, lights

Lights, lights

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when I'm aloneA

nd so I tell myself that I'll be strong

And dreaming when they're gone

'Cause they're calling, calling, calling me home

Calling, calling, calling home

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

You shine it when

I'm aloneHome

(Home, home )Lights, lights, lights, lights

Lights, lights, lights, lights

(Home, home)Lights, lights, lights, lights

Lights, lights, lights, lights

I released i breath as I finished and opened my eyes to see alot more peole that had been here when I had frist shut my eyes.

I stood up and walked to grab my things.

"Am I dismissed?"

"Hayley-"

"Am I dismissed?!" I let the anger seep through my words.

"Yes." Dewey replied. I left the room quickly, brushing by Freddy into the hallway.

I can't believe all of School of Rock was there! I was only playing for him, Alicia and Marta. THAT"S IT!

I opened the doors to exit into the main hallway when a a hand shot from behind me and held the door in its place from the top.

"What do you want Freddy?"

"You sounded great back there."

"No one was supposed to hear me sing,"

"But we did and you were awesome."

"I'm going to be late to class Freddy," I replied, trying to emphasize the fact that I didn't want to talk about my singing at the moment.

"Come on! Not only me," he paused getting to his knees, "want you to join the band but everyone else does!" He stood there on his knees.

"We do! We do!" several voices cried rounding the corner.

Dewey slid on his knees next to Freddy.

"Come on!" Dewey cried, shaking his clasped hands.

Zack was next to sink to his kness on the other side of Freddy.

After him everyone but summer sank to their knees with their hands clasped.

"Please?" Freddy asked, only loud enough for me to hear.

I choked up right there and just started crying.
