"I'm so sorry, if I was more sensitive I wouldn't have-...you wouldn't have... Ahhhhhhhhh!" Peace wailed, tears welled from her eyes.
"How did you even get here?" Ethan questions.
"The Captain! He flipping sold me out!" Peace flails her arms.
"We have to get out of here! They're gonna take over the world-a-and they're gonna make me the sacrifice!"Ethan hurriedly unbounded the rest of the restraints on Peace, and the two headed for the metallic door.
"We're going to have to use another exit. This place is full of guards." Ethan stated.
They quickened their pace, but their escape was short lived as they were greeted with the real Padparadscha, who gave them both a stern look.
The whole atmosphere was tense, before Padparadscha uttered, "All exits are blocked, you'll have to fight your ways out." She opens a wardrobe that stood on the side of the corridor.
"I'll try to distract a few of them away. That much blood is unnecessary to shed." She ushered Peace and Ethan in to the wardrobe to hide.
"How do we even know we could trust you?" Ethan hissed, as he was pushed into the closet.
"You don't have to." Padparadscha snaps.
As she reached to close the wardrobe's doors, Peace grabbed her by the arm."Come with us. I won't leave you behind agai-"
"I know. Which is why I'm giving you a head start. I'll catch up." Padparadscha interuppted.
The wardrobe's doors shutted close, and the sound of ceramic shattering was heard from just outside the wardrobe.
Padparadscha lets out an ear piercing scream, "Traitor! The traitor escaped once again! Hurry, hurry!"
Loud thumpings echoed the halls.
"Lady, Padparadscha, are you alright?!" A guard asks."The traitor escaped! Catch her! She's heading to the parlour!" Padparadscha lies.
Panicked orders and running stormed the corridors, till they slowly faded.
"Peace..." Ethan whispers out in the darkness.
"What?"
"Here, swallow this." Ethan felt Peace's hand, and dropped the item to her palm.
"What is this?" She questions.
"Its candy. Be careful, its spicy." Ethan replies.
"Why would I-"
"Just chew and swallow." He hisses.
There was silence in the darkness for a moment, before it was interuppted with Peace's coughing.
"Hell on my tongue! Hell on my tongue! Ethan what the hell did give me?!" Peace fanned her hands, as she continued to cough.
Trying very hard to make her coughs as little as possible.Peace felt a familiar weight being placed on her hands. Her fingers brushed on the object. Its details were rich to the touch.
"Ethan?" She calls out.
