42- Aftermath~

Her POV

I'm in Namjoon's studio, on his couch, on a video call, him working on his music on the side.

"Oh my god Ayanna this picture has to be the cutest thing ever!" Kiara says as she pulls up the picture of Namjoon giving me a finger heart and me grinning like an idiot, on her phone.

"Did you guys kiss?!!" Evelyn asks, her head perched on her arms

"I mean the guys covered you both up pretty well... I'm guessing that's the only reason why" Vienna says

I smile my widest smile as I reply yes and they all let out little squeals.

"Okay then that's enough fangirling and sappiness" I say as I desperately try to stop smiling

"I mean you're practically a tomato at this point and you can't stop smiling so I guess the sappiness is justified!" Vienna teases

"Stop it! I called you guys to ask you something"

"What??"

"Are y'all free to come to Seoul for the first concert of the tour?"

At that they completely lose it and I have to take off my headphones

Namjoon gives me a grin and he pops into the frame "You all better not miss it for the world. I need to meet you guys!"

They stare at him with wide eyes, trying to maintain composure.

I think their hearts stopped for a second

I wouldn't really blame them

I push Namjoon out of the frame "Stop stealing my spotlight!"

"Ahh but you're in my eternal spotlight, Jagiya~"

This earns him loud "awwwwwwws" from all of them

I roll my eyes "Really Namjoon? Cheesiness has a limit"

"Oh shut up Ayanna that was absolutely adorable" Kiara yells through the computer

"Look at her trying to pretend like she doesn't enjoy this" Eve says with a little giggle

"Namjoon! Spoil her with affection, cause no matter what she does and says, she absolutely loves it" Vi says

"Oh I spoil her alright!" He says as he nuzzles my cheek.

Thankfully, before I give in, his phone rings and he's called to the dance studio for a rehearsal

"On a day off??" I ask with a pout

"Ahh there are no days off in this line of work. Especially with the concerts coming up. Don't worry I'll be back soon!" He says as he gets up to leave

"Byeeeee!" He says as he walks out the door

"Byee! Don't over exert yourself! Please!"

He gives me a smile before closing the door with a soft click.

"I should've known you were in his studio. I thought the place looked familiar!" Eve says

"Oh my god, Kim Namjoon saw me looking like this. Like a fricking mess."
I see Kiara go into an existential crisis

"Oh my god woman if I could reach through the screen and slap you I would. You look fine!"

We discuss about them coming all the way to Seoul. I try to convince them to come for longer but since this was kind of out of the blue , they decide to stay for three days before the concert, and leave the next night.

...

I drive to the airport to pick them up. Namjoon insists that I take a company car, even though I repeatedly tell him that I'll manage with a taxi.

"Oh my gosh Namjoon I don't want to be a bother. The staff are needed here, with the concert only 3 days away-"

"Yah! How many times do I have to tell you you aren't a bother?!"

I hadn't seen the three of them in person for so long that I didn't mind all the hugging a squealing.

I was right there hugging and squealing with them.

"I'm sorry that I still have to work on these days, but I'll be home around 5:00 and we can go out then. Do y'all have an itinerary? Anything planned? Because otherwise we can make one today" I say as we are driven back to my apartment

"Yah! Why are you apologizing for working? Like, what even?! We're so grateful you called us here, and for a concert no less!" Kiara says

"Yeah Ayanna Sheesh! We do have a vague idea of things to do, like shopping for merch and visiting museums and installations that we looked up online. Don't worry about us" Vi says reassuringly

"Thank you for having us over!" Eve chimes in

.....

I open the door to my apartment, to find the light on the living room switched on

Huh

"Drop your bags in the corner here for now...My apartment's kind of small, so I thought all of us could sleep in my room. I have a couple of extra mattresses too- oh!"

Joon walks over from the sofa and gives me a kiss that I regretted breaking.

"Don't you have to rehearse?! What in god's name are you doing?!" I say in irritation

"Aish woman, lemme say hello to our guests at least before you go off on me!"

I had forgotten about them standing behind me. I look at them and they're all frozen in place.

"Namjoon this is-"

"Kiara, Evelyn, Vienna, right?
Hello! Welcome to Korea! This is your first time here isn't it? I hope you guys have fun!" He says as he shakes their hands, all three of them in a daze.

" And, to answer your question, I came over to get some shut eye and thought I should stay to say hello-" he says as his phone buzzes

He looks at his watch, "Oh, Ayanna I gotta go now. I got some dinner for y'all! Hope you like it! Bye love! See you tomorrow at work. Kiara, Evelyn and Vienna, have fun!" He says as he pecks me on the cheek and leaves

" All the best Joon! Tell the guys to not overwork! And the same goes for you too,don't you ever forget that!" I call out as he chuckles and walks out the door.

...

"OH MY GOD NAMJOON WAS HOME AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US?" Eve says as she digs into the food

"I don't think I can live with myself after letting him see me like this" Kiara says as she drops her head into her hands

"I think I forgot to breathe the entire time, oh my-" Vi says as she shakes her head

"Oh come on! It's not that big of a deal-!"

"ITS KIM NAMJOON FOR GODS SAKE! IT IS A BIG DEAL!" Kiara says as she slams her fist on he table, which makes me laugh even harder

We eat the food and everyone showers as we discuss all the things going on in our lives and their plans for the days they're here.

All that travelling hits them soon though and we decide to call it a night.
