AMIYA POV

Today is Karmen and jade's going away to college party I had just finished getting dressed Tj was supposed to be going with me but he texted me and told me that he was running late he will meet me there I was putting on my earrings when one dropped under the bed I went under there to grab it when I felt like a bag I pulled it from under the bed and opened it and there inside was a gun at that point I was confused like why did Tj have a gun and especially why is he hiding it from me just then I hear the front door I quickly grabbed the bag with the gun in it and hid in the behind the bathroom door once I heard him make it the bedroom i peaked out and saw Tj under the bed I came out the bathroom

Amiya: Hey babe

Tj: damn u scared me I didn't know u was still here

Amiya: yup so umm u looking for this

Tj: what u doing with that

Amiya: the question is why the hell are u hiding a gun under our bed

Tj: look miya I need that gun I can't explain everything right now but u need to leave this house now

Tj was so serious I started to get scared

Amiya: what is going on Tj tell me now

Tj: I can't right now

Amiya: well I ain't leaving til u tell me what's going on

Tj: fine but then we gotta go

Amiya: ok now start explaining and from beginning to end

Tj: before I got the job with ur father I started selling for this dude name Ace but once ur father gave me the job I quit but come to find out u just don't up and quit with Ace he wanted to keep selling for him and I did for a min but I stopped I couldn't do it no more and now he after me so I need u to pack ur stuff and get out of here

Amiya: where's ur brother and sister and ur daughter

Tj: I got them a hotel

Amiya: u left them by themselves

Tj: they old enough to watch themselves and Layton well kinda but that's not the point I needed to put them somewhere safe

Amiya: I can't believe u was gonna hide this from me

Tj: I was gonna tell u after u went to the party and everything was done and over with

Amiya: what do u mean done and over with u was not going to kill him

He didn't say nun but the look in his eyes said it all

Amiya: Tamir

Tj: come on miya don't look at me like that

Amiya: Look I'm more upset that u was gonna let me go out and party while u were in danger

And then it clicked to me who Ace was

Amiya: wait a minute this the same Ace who showed up at our door

Tj: yeah

Amiya: so he knows where we live

Tj: yeah and he must have been following me cuz I would never let him know where I stay
