Abi's P.O.V.

"Happy Birthday my babies." I said as I walked into their nursery.

"Momma!" Axel cheered as I walked over to him.

I lifted him up and cuddled him close to me, savouring it whilst I still could before he got too old for momma's cuddles.

"You're both getting so big." I said with a smile.

"Cake?" Maddy asked and I laughed.

"Later." I said, shaking my head.

It was Tony's fault; all he kept telling her yesterday was that he was going to get her the biggest cake ever and she was super excited, it was all she kept going on about yesterday.

"Look at my babies, how are you both already 1?" Clint said, coming up behind me.

"They're growing up too quickly." I said as Clint wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"They certainly are, but I can't wait to watch them grow." He said, pressing a kiss to my shoulder.

"Me neither." I said with a smile.

We got the twins dressed and took them into the living room, there were banners and balloons everywhere and the others were already up and waiting.

"Happy birthday!" They all cheered and the twins clapped and squealed excitedly

Axel wriggled out of my grip and waddled over to Steve, who picked him up and threw him up and down a few times, and Maddy reached out for Tony, he quickly took her from Clint and span her around.

"Guess what princess?" Tony said with a smile.

She looked up at him, her big blue eyes wide and full of wonder as she watched him.

"I got you a huge cake!" He said and she clapped happily.

"Cake!" Maddy said excitedly.

"I can't believe her third word is cake, Tony." I said shaking my head.

"Momma." Axel said, pointing at their mountains of presents.

"After breakfast you can open your gifts." I said.

We all made our way to the kitchen and Clint and I made pancakes whilst everyone else sat at the table, chatting to each other as well as talking to the twins. I placed two plates piled high with pancakes in the middle of the table and everyone dug in, the twins were covered in syrup and pancakes, I was quick to take a photo before we cleaned them up after we finished eating. Once we were finished, Tony decided we should let them open their gifts, I think he was just excited to give them the gifts from him; he wouldn't tell any of us and he was super excited. It took over an hour for them to open all of their gifts, with a little help from the others, and they were truly spoiled; they got loads of soft toys, clothes, building blocks, a few pairs of trainers, a rocking horse each, and many other gifts.

"There's one more thing for each of them." Tony said with a grin.

"Tony." I said, raising my eyebrows.

"I might have bought these a little prematurely, they might not be able to ride them just yet but I saw them and just had to buy them." He said.

He lead us all out onto the balcony where there were two giant ride on electric cars, one with Maddy's name on the number plate and a with Axel's name on the number plate.

"Tony, you shouldn't have." I breathed.

"Nothing but the best for these two." He said, putting Maddy into her car whilst Steve put Maddy into hers.
