Ch. 6 "Memory"

Third Person POV

Ever since Elijah, and Stefan learned Kaley's sister was the one and only Hayley Marshall the Mikaelson's took it upon themselves to take care of the little one, the thing that worried them was every time they attempted to call her it went right to voice mail,

Right now Kaley was was in the back yard playing with Rebekah,

"No luck?" Elijah asked Klaus

"None," Klaus said shaking his head,

"I'm gonna get ya!" Rebekah yelled acting like a slow zombi trying to catch Kaley

Kaley giggled as if she wasn't lost at all, as if they were her family all along,

"I'm gonna have to see exactly what happened so I can find Hayley," Klaus said

"You mean-"Kol said

Klaus nodded,

"I'm gonna have to go in her mind," Klaus said

Kaley POV

Me and Rebekah were in the back yard playing when I heard someone approaching us, I see Klaus walking towards us,

"Kaley, Can I have a word with you," Klaus said picking me up,

"Sure but I have a feeling if I said no you still would anyway," I said smiling at him poking him in the cheek,

"You're right love," He said smiling

We got in the house, I'm now sitting next to Elijah and Klaus,

"Kaley Love in order to find you're sister I need to see exactly what happened," Klaus said

"How?" I asked innocently

"By going in you're memories," He said

I gulped,

"O-Okay," I said

He nodded

Klaus POV

"Okay now lay down," I said motioning to the couch,

She nodded and did as told,

"Now I need you to be still, and clear your mind," I said

"This isn't gonna hurt is it?" she asked

"Not at all, now close you're eyes," I said

She did as told,

My eyes glow yellow as my hand is above her head, then close my eyes, and the scene changes,

I see Hayley with Kaley in her arms running from a Pack of wolves,

"I'm scared," Kaley mumbled but Hayley kept running jumping over logs dodging trees, one hand was on the back of Kaleys head and the other hooked under her bottom keeping her up against her,

"It's okay little cub, I'm not going to let them get you," Hayley said as she kept running

Then I heard running footsteps a lot of footsteps,

"They went this way!!" I heard

Suddenly Hayley stopped,

I see what she was looking at a hole in the bottom of a large tree, setting Kaley inside,

"Kaley, I need you to stay here so I can lure them away," Hayley said

"But..." Kaley said

"Don't worry I promise I will come back to you," Hayley said smiling sadly tucking apiece of hair behind Kaley's ear,

Hayley kissed the top of Kaley's head I heard the footsteps getting closer,

"Whatever you hear don't make a sound," Hayley said

Kaley nodded as tears fell down her cheeks, Hayley took off running, Kaley sat down bringing her knees to her chest,

Then one of the werewolves found her pulling her out of the tree, she was surrounded one of them cutting her across the chest,

then something weird happened,

Haley's eyes turned blue with a ring of red around the pupils causing all the were wolves cover their ears and fall to their knees, with that she took off running tripping every now and again jumping over logs,

I backed up a little gasping for breath,

"What happened?" Elijah said

I looked at Kaley, her lip quivering, water welling up in her eyes,

"You promise it wouldn't hurt," She said getting up and running out the door,

"After her," I said worried

Kaley POV

I ran out the door crying remembering what happened, I wish it never happened running through the woods, jumping over logs, I look behind me, only to run into someone, I look up to see Kol,

I stumble towards him grabbing his leg crying,

Kol picked me up,

"I know darling, it's alright were going to find her," He said rubbing my back as he walked

"I promise we will find her," He said
