The next week flew by quickly for Rose. She had a few days where she wanted nothing more than to spend time with people, and then she had days where the thought of being around people would make her panic. She had met pretty much every member of the Order, and her favorite person to talk to was Tonks. The young auror was very fun. Rose had also been able to accept that Mad-Eye Moody was not the person who had tried to kill her, but she still kept her distance.

Rose still had trouble sleeping, and she had gotten in the habit of crawling into the bed with her parents. Some nights she would make Remus sleep in the room, but he never seemed upset. On the nights that Rose couldn't sleep, she would walk up the steps and sit on the roof she had found the first morning at Grimmauld. She had discovered that the room belonged to her dad's brother, Regulus, but Rose never asked her dad for more information. She knew it was a sore subject for him.

The kids all tried to listen into the Order meetings, but they rarely found anything out. Fred and George had made extendable ears that allowed them to listen, but Mrs. Weasley had found them and gotten very upset.

It was a full month into summer and Rose had been at Grimmauld for a full week before anything crazy happened.

"Ok, so I'm going to tell you something and you cannot interrupt," Sirius said. He had gathered all the kids in the kitchen, telling them that he had an announcement. Remus and Marlene were washing dishes, and Rose had the feeling they were actually there to make sure Sirius didn't say more than he was supposed to. "Four days ago, Harry was attacked by dementors. He was able to get away by using magic, but the ministry is trying to get him expelled because of it, but Dumbledore has arranged for him to have a trial. A guard is going to get him tonight and he will stay here until it is time to go back to Hogwarts, or...much longer depending on the trial. Any questions?"

Rose sat back in her chair as her friends all started asking questions.

"Is he ok?" Rose asked quietly. The other kids all stopped talking at once, as they all knew that Harry meant more to Rose than he ever would to them.

"He's fine," Sirius assured her.

"Yeah, don't worry. You can kiss Harry again all you want after tonight," Fred teased. Rose glared at him harsher than she ever had glared at anyone before.

"You kissed Harry?!" Sirius cried.

"Oh, how wonderful! When?" Marlene asked, hurrying over from the sink. Remus was frozen in shock.

"Depends on which time you're talking about," Ron said, a smirk on his face. Rose gasped at him, not knowing that he knew about their first kiss.

"You've kissed him multiple times?!" Sirius cried.

"I thought I taught you that boys are bad! All of them!" Remus exclaimed, finally getting over his shock.

"What's all this ruckus about?" Mrs. Weasley asked as she entered the kitchen.

"My little Rosie's had her first kiss!" Marlene said, sounding excited and proud.

"Oh! With who?" Mrs. Weasley asked, also looking excited. They had all become like one big family during their time stuck together.

"I'll tell you after I murder your sons," Rose growled. Ron and Fred both paled. "You have 5 seconds."

"Love you, mum!" Fred yelled as he started running.

"See you in the afterlife!" Ron added, also running.

"You're dead!" Rose yelled, and she started chasing them. The boys' screams echoed through the house. Marlene turned to Hermione with a bright smile on her face.
