"I can't wait! I can't wait!" Beomgyu exclaims, jumping on his seat like a child but in reality, he's a fucking seventeen year old teenager. They're inside the bus, he and his younger sister named Shin Yuna, well, half sister her father eventually left them for no reason. "Quiet down, gyu!" Yuna says with a light chuckle at the end.
Beomgyu calms down and smiles as he look out of the window, they're near to Busan, his new home. "Sorry, I'm just so excited that we're finally living in a province." He looks at his sister with the widest smile ever, "Imagine how clean it is, no smoke, no pollution and- beaches! Also, I can play volleyball in the beach!"
"You can't even play it properly." Yuna laughs which made his brother frown and smack the back of her head, now they're bickering like actual kids. Their mother just let out a giggle seeing them happy yet arguing, "Quiet down, kids."
"Mom, he said that I talk in my sleep?"
"Yes, you do you big eyed creature!" Beomgyu interrupts, Yuna growls and grab his hair, well, siblings. "Stop! Ow-"
"We have arrived." The bus driver announces, Beomgyu stops and Yuna let go of him and watched him jump with joy. The small family along with the other passengers went out of the bus and grabbed all of their stuffs. Beomgyu inhales deeply, placing his hands on his waist as he close his eyes, "Ah, nature!"
"Okay, lets go you two so we can finally rest." Mrs. Choi said and the two followed her and helped her with all their baggages and bags. Also, they went to eat lunch too since they're tired from the long trip, a small incomplete yet happy family, that's all Beomgyu could ever ask for.
Soon enough they arrived to their house, not so modern but is made of wood and concrete, they live in a hill village and they are somehwere they could see the beautiful view of the rest of Busan. "Whose house is this, mom?" Yuna asks once she opened the door.
It was dusty and there are a few furniture inside left, they placed all the bags down. "This is your grandmother's house, we used to live in here a long time ago once Beomgyu was still two years old." The house was not that big, but there are four rooms in there. One for their mother, one for Beomgyu, one for Yuna and the other is for the guests, if there are.
"This is cool! I love how cozy it is in here." Beomgyu says, his eyes was filled with amaze and excite. "Well, gather up and fix all of your things so we can clean the rest of the house." The two nodded and went to their bedrooms and placed all of their stuff in there.
Beomgyu was fixing his bed and he heard a knock and let the person come in, it was Yuna with a box in her arms so Beomgyu helped her with it. "The boxes arrived, here are your other things. Also, the other new furniture will arrive tomorrow." She said and left closing the door after.
Beomgyu placed the two boxes down the wooden floor of his bedroom, he opened one of them and saw this one thing that he wanted to pursue. He grab it with a small smile, a hopeful smile, a ball of a volleyball. "One day I will learn, one day I will play, I will play and make you proud, dad." He placed the ball on the desk beside a picture frame of his father carrying him when he was still a kid.

Beomgyu was at their backyard, the sun will set soon and their house is now clean. His mother is cooking dinner while Yuna is upstairs doing her own business. While this energetic boy is facing a wall, he took a deep breath and threw it as the ball made contact with the concrete, it bounced back and his eyes were alert.
He did the position to receive the ball but it went straight to his face, he groaned as he fell down the ground rubbing his nose and glad that it wasn't bleeding. He frowns, "How do I do this? I can't even receive it properly." He pouts and sits up staring at the ball, he stands up and went inside.
Beomgyu knocks on Yuna's door, but there was no response so he decided to open it. "No, no right there. He's literally right there!" She laughs, she was sitting on her chair infront of a computer and her cat head phones are on, she moved the mouse and continued playing. "Yuna!" He was ignored, he grunts and walked towards her and tapped her shoulder.
She glances up and knew what he wants, "Beomgu, I'm playing right now just go play with a wall or something." She said and continued to play her game, Beomgyu rolls his eyes and went out of the room, "She nevee stopped playing call of duty." He complains and went down stairs.
He looks over at the kitchen and saw his mother cooking so he approached her, waddling his way and looks at what she's cooking. "Hello there." She greets with a smile, Beomgyu smiles back, "Tteokbokki?" He asked with a big orange smile, she nodded at him. "Your favorite, well, Yuna too."
"Mom?"
"Yes sweetie?"
He bit his lip, "Do you think I can play volleyball?" He asks, Mrs. Choi looks at him with soft eyes, she ruffled her son's hair and nodded, "Ofcourse, what makes you think that you can't?"
"It's just that I can't receive properly, I've been trying it a lot of times now. Well, there are times I can but most of it, I just couldn't." He said with a hint of sadness in his voice. She sighs and held his cheeks making him look up at her, she smiles which calmed the boy down. "Practice makes perfect, just keep trying and you'll eventually learn it, don't lose hope, okay?"
He nodded, "Now go call your sister, dinner's ready."
