NATALIA HAD faced worse tortures in her life

NATALIA HAD faced worse tortures in her life. This was nothing compared to the hell Darth Maul put her through or the torture she had received on board the Death Star. Natalia bet she could have conducted a better torture than these three stormtroopers. She still wasn't entirely sure on what they wanted. All they'd say is tell us what we want to know and then punch her.

Shots suddenly sounded outside Natalia's door, causing her to lift her head. It confused her. She knew the troopers wouldn't have shot each other and it was way to soon for Han or Leia to even consider her missing. But her question was answered for her the instant the door opened, revealing the Mandalorian with a the child wrapped tightly in his arm.

"So while I'm sitting here getting beat, you decided to go on a shopping spree?" Natalia asked as she stared at the new armor the Mandlorian wore.

"You're lucky I even came back." The Mandalorian shot as he pulled out a knife and cut the restraints that tied Natalia to the chair.

Natalia wasted no time to stand up, rubbing her wrists slightly from the harsh rope. They began to walk out of the room, the Mandalorian handing the child over for Natalia to carry before pulling out his pistol. The three slowly walked down the hallway making sure to stay as quiet as possible. Natalia only had one problem with this predicament. She had no weapon, no way to defend herself in case someone had caught on to them.

"So do I just not get a blaster or what?" Natalia whispered as she held the child closer to her.

"I'm the better shot." The Mandalorian stated.

"Well, what if I'm the better shot? Hmm?" Natalia asked as she raised her left brow. "You've never seen me shoot."

"Trust me, you're not." The Mandalorian stated once more.

"You just think you're better than me." Natalia argued. The Mandalorian said nothing, either chosing to ignore her or thinking over an answer but Natalia never gave him the time to find out which one it was. "You know, a wise man once told me experience outranks everything. I believe I have more experience than you."

Before the argument could further one of the doors to the left of Natalia whooshed open, revealing a stormtrooper on the other end. The Mandalorian quickly shot the man down as Natalia hugged the child closer to her. A shot suddenly shot past her, almost hitting her. Natalia quickly turned her body and used it as a shield for the child once she spotted the stormtrooper who had snuck up behind them. The Mandalorian acted fast and quickly shot down the other trooper.

"We have to keep moving." The Mandalorian instructed as he began to walk towards the next door, preventing the previous argument from returning.

Natalia followed behind him, looking down to the child who was sleeping soundly in her arms. A small smirk formed on her face as she stared down at the sleeping child. In a way the child reminded her of herself, of time when she held all the innocence in the world, even in the time of war. But her smile was soon to fade as the trio reached the center of the next room. One by one the doors surrounding them opened and stormtroopers ran into the room. All with their blasters drawn and ready to fire.

"Freeze." One of them ordered.

"Don't move." Another demanded.

Natalia slowly looked over to the Mandalorian, tightening her grip on the child. She knew what to do, how to beat them. The man who raised her lived for stuff like this back in his day and Natalia had grown up to stories about the ARC troopers Jesse, Echo, and Fives.

"Give me the blaster." Natalia whispered as she slowly took one of her hands off the child to reach out for the blaster.

"I said don't move!" The trooper yelled.

"Wait. What she's holding is very valuable." The Mandalorian spoke sternly, his voice not once faltering to show any sign of panic. "Here." He said as he began to drop to his knees, looking over to Natalia and urging her to do the same.

Natalia hesitantly followed his actions and dropped to her knees, gently placing the child on the floor in front of her. The Mandalorian placed his hands down next to the child, letting go of the blaster he carried.

"Drop the blaster!" The trooper in front of them yelled.

"Are you sure about this?" He whispered.

"Is that even a question?" Natalia asked as she slowly grabbed the blaster.

"Now turn and face me!" One of the troopers commanded.

Natalia moved quickly, shooting up off the ground with the blaster held tightly in her hand. She shot the first stromtrooper to come into her view then grabbed the next one by the arm and pulled him to her chest, securing an arm around his neck to keep him in place. She used his body as a shield to block the oncoming fire as she shot down three more troopers.

She quickly switched the arm around the trooper's neck and ripped his blaster from his hand before she let her arm fall entirely as he fell limp after one last final shot to the center of his chest by one of his fellow troopers. A small smirk formed on her face as she spun the two blasters in her hands, remembering Rex doing the same thing many times. But before she could fire another shot little lights danced into the air, whistling as they hit each of their targets taking down the last five troopers that were still standing.

"You know, you don't need to show off all the time." Natalia spoke with a small glare as she looked over to the Mandalorian who was now standing, the child held tightly in his arms. "I had that all under control."

"My method was much faster." The Mandalorian justified with a small shrug.

A small scoff ran past Natalia's lips as she shook her head. "Fifteen more seconds the the remaining troopers would have been dead."

"We don't have the time." He spoke as he began to walk towards the door. "Now come on, we have to move faster than we are now if we ever want to make it out."
