it's late, around two am and i haven't fallen asleep due yet to luke's and michaels loud talking.
"you need to calm down," michael seethed to who i assumed was luke. "you're being fucking loud."
my eyes fluttered as i noticed tiny details around the room i was staying in. it's not that i wasn't tired, i was just to consumed in michael and luke's conversation to try to sleep.
"how am i supposed to calm down?" luke whisper yelled, kinda, "my mom found a place back home and is demanding her back. i don't have any legal papers that say i have guardianship over alexa."
"don't you . . like, have her stuff here?" michael questioned, dragging out the last couple words. "how are you supposed to gain guardianship?."
"goddamit— i don't know, michael!" luke yelled, anger and stress laced his tone. i felt bad for michael.
on another note, how does he not realize he's being this loud?
"okay luke, you seriously need to calm down and lower your voice. you're going to wake your sister up." michael hissed. "what are you even planning on doing?"
"what i want to do, is to keep her."
