Hey guys! I know I said I'll post every Tuesday but I am not putting an actual chapter up today. It wouldn't be right for me to with everything going on. I haven't been very vocal on this platform as much as I have been vocal on twitter but I really do need to speak out more on here.

As most of you may know, on May 25, 2020, George Floyd was murdered by an officer. The officer, Derek Chauvin, kneeled on the neck of Floyd for eight minutes and fifty-three seconds. Floyd was crying out that he couldn't breathe and Chauvin ignored his pleads and kept his knee on his neck, a smirk on his face. Even after George Floyd became unresponsive, Derek Chauvin sat there for another two minutes before finally taking his knee off. He wanted to make sure that Floyd was gone, he did it on purpose.

Nobody should ever have to go through that! We're supposed to be able to trust law enforcements instead we fear them.

Black lives matter, they always will. They're human, just like everybody else. How can anybody find it okay to hate on somebody for their color? It's not right! We all bleed red so why are they discriminated against? Racism is not okay! If you think it's okay, something is wrong with you. Black people have been through so much, they have to live in fear. They can't even go on runs without having to be afraid that a policeman will come out and shoot them. Black parents fear for their child's safety whenever they go out, they're always afraid that their child won't return home. Nobody should ever have to live in fear just because of the color of their skin.

Black people, you're beautiful - inside and out. I'm sorry y'all have to go through this everyday, my heart hurts for you. If I could, I would take away all of your fears and pain.

For everybody saying, all lives matter. Yes, all lives do matter but all lives cannot matter until black lives matter. Not one race is superior to the other and I hate that some people actually think that.

I pray for all of you. I pray that you all are safe and okay. If you need anything, if you're not mentally okay right now, my messages are open. I will listen to you, I will help you the best way that I can. Don't be afraid to message me if you need anybody to talk to, I'm here.

"Racism is a human problem and a crime that is absolutely so ghastly, that a person who is fighting racism is well within his rights to fight against it by any means necessary until it is eliminated." (Malcom X)
