after dinner, soobin walked back upstairs to his room and sat down at his desk, grabbing his phone that was put on charge.

he read through his notifications that he missed, seeing mostly instagram and twitter posts but also a few texts messages from
his friends. what shocked him was a text message from his pen pal.

tapping on the chat, he read the text message.

having no luck on getting the pen pal back, soobin sighed and leaned back on his chair, staring at the ceiling as he hung his head. this was just his first interaction with the person and he already knew it was gonna be difficult to befriend them.

soobin huffed deeply before deciding to play on his switch with his friends.

"yeah. i don't know how to get them to open up." he groaned as he casted out his fishing rod on a shark.

"ooo you should try 21 questions. it'll be short and easy so you don't have to use google translate much." beomgyu suggested, stealing his shark. "hey! that was my shark!" soobin yelled, taking out his axe and chasing beomgyus character.

"binnie you mind if i steal some of your gold roses?" kai asked, getting ready to dig them
out with his shovel. "don't! i need them!"

the whole time they played acnh, it was mostly soobin chasing the youngers who tried to mess up his island that he put his blood, sweat and tears into.

they ended the game at 9pm, saying goodbye and leaving the discord chat.

soobin went onto the chat with his pen pal, sending them text using google translate.
