FIRST ENCOUNTER-

You looked around the old theater as you pointed your flashlight in different directions, hoping to find your friend, who decided to disappear on you. "Can't believe her." You muttered to yourself. You loved your friend dearly but seriously?

Leaving you in the middle of a creepy place?

Cursing quietly, you stopped and glanced around. "(F/N)! You here?" You shouted, but got silence for an answer. You dug into you pocket for you phone about to dial her number till you caught sight of something in the corner of your eye.

Looking in that direction, you raised a brow and pointed your flashlight. "Hello?" You called out, waiting till you saw a faint light. "F/N!" You shoved your phone back into your pocket and walked in that direction.

You didn't see her though. "What the fuck?" Looking around, you caught sight of the light again and felt a little dumb when you saw what looked like a glowing string and not a flashlight light.

"Hey!" You ran after the string only to stop in front of man, who was floating."Eh.." You looked at him as he tilted his head, grinning widely. "Hello."

You couldn't say anything. You couldn't do anything. You trembled as he floated near you, hand nearly touching you till a faint shout got his attention. Glancing away for a moment, you turned back to see the ghost man gone.

"What the.." You whispered, screaming when something touched your shoulder.

"Whoa! Chill, man." (F/N) giggled as you exhaled deeply, hand on your chest. "Can we go?" You asked, making her nod and laugh. "Scaredy cat." She commented.

You didn't even bother to reply. You were just worried about running into that ghost again.

MEETING AGAIN-

"Even sage?" You questioned, making your friend stop to look at you. "Yes! Even sage!" She set the sage and little thing she had in hand down and put her hands on your shoulders. "Have you not noticed your moods, dude?" She asked, making you rub your neck.

You've noticed a few changes in your mood. The loneliness at first then slowly other emotions making it hard for you to really focus but it didn't bother you much. Maybe it's worst than you thought.

"There is some bad shit here. I can feel it." She said, pointing at you. "So, I am staying the night and make you dinner. Then tomorrow, we're both going to class." (F/N) stated, grabbing her bag. "Since I finished smudging, I am gonna go buy some things." You hummed quietly and yawned. "I'm gonna go copy those notes you brought back then."

She nodded and you went to your room to write down the notes. Halfway through, you ended up leaning against your hand, playing with your pencil. Even though (F/N) was here, you felt a little lonely and down. It was only a little but it scared you a bit.

"You're alone, aren't you?"

You jumped as hands rested on your shoulders. "You must feel so lonely." The hushed voice said by your ear making you look down at your unfinished notes. "They call me Puppeteer."

You quickly sat up from your chair and turned around to see the same ghost figure you saw at the theater. "It's you again..." You whispered as getting a closer look at Puppeteer. His outfit, the golden, glowing eyes and mouth, and faint black tears stains down his face.

Before you realized it, there was something around your neck but you didn't know what it was till he stared at you longer. "What?" He whispered questioningly, strings retreating from your neck.

"What?" You asked quietly, making him tilt his head before you heard a door shut making you flinch and he hummed quietly. "I can wait a little more." Puppeteer said before grinning widely. "Just a little bit longer."
