"And you're actually saying that I should calm down? How can I calm down if there's someone who actually want to—I don't know what she wants but base on what you're saying gusto niya akong saktan!"
Pinanuod kong magpaikot ikot si Gatorade sa harap naming tatlo. Nakailang ulit na din siya dun sa paghawak sa tuktok ng ulo niya tapos akala mo guguluhin ang buhok niya pero ise-shake lang naman. Mannerism?
"Could you just... Wag kang sumigaw." I still glared at him. What a fortune to have Gatorade. "And please, don't look at me like that."
I clenched my jaw. Naiinis kasi talaga ako. Yes, I'm being hysterical but at least I have my own reasons! Sinong matutuwa na you got an instant threat because of hiring a boyfriend? Sino ang ganung service? Ikaw na nga ang nagbayad tapos ikaw pa ang mapapahamak?
Yes, I know na I'm not actually the one who pays, pero ahit sino hindi matutuwa!
"She's harmless." Gatorade sighed.
"Harmless? How can you prove to me that she is harmless pagkatapos ng gawin niya sakin at sa sasakyan ko? " I gritted my teeth.
"Bebs, calm down." Tatayo sana ako nung bigla akong hinigit ni Bebs pabalik sa sofa. "I'm sure that BFC will not allow her to do something to you. Syempre, you're still BFC's client."
She has a point. Pero, ewan ko ba. This is actually the first time that I've gotten myself into trouble. Not really a trouble but a threat. At wala akong ginawa kundi pumayag sa ginawang trip ng Papa ko. I took a deep breath and slammed my back against the soft sofa.
"Dovee is right." Marcus cut in. "Oo, naging problema na namin 'yung ex-client ni Gatorade pero wala naman siyang nagawang very violent. Siguro ginawa din niya 'yung mga ginawa niya sayo. Like the confrontation and threatening stuff. Pero she really never harmed anyone. Unless..."
Napaharap ako kay Marcus. Unless? Nakatingin siya kay Gatorade. Parang nagtatanong ng permission kung kelangan niya bang ituloy ang sasabihin niya o hindi. Umiling si Gatorade at tumalikod samin.
"Unless what?" I asked, calmly. Nakakapagod din magtaray. Kanina pa ako dada ng dada.
Pero umiling lang si Gatorade at pumasok sa isang pintuan. Tumingin ako kay Marcus pero nginitian lang niya ako. Err. Ayoko na munang magtanong. Yes, I ayoko ng maging hysterical pa. This is a tiring Saturday and to think that I'm hoping for a free time. Jeez?
