I wish I could be stronger
is time only wasted
on what we've been told
stories of old
fairies that fly up on mountain tops
get stuck on lemon drops
and freeze off their wings in the cold
mermaids
I love their hair
but it sheds everywhere
and fish scales make me want to vomit.
dwarves with their pointy hats
too bad they're super fat
they roll around and can't seem to get up-
maybe if their legs were longer
or if they'd stop eating frogs
they'd be less fat,
and frogs would get rid of all those
nasty little bugs.
humans are ugly
rude
disgusting
they pick fairies like blueberries.
a fairy's wings taste great
on a white chocolate cake
but also in blackberry pie.
back to the beginning
just a little while longer
back then I was stronger
so I've been told,
sold an invisible popsicle
to a little ghost kid
maybe since he's see- through too
he won't notice.
the joke's on him
it's just a stick
cause I already ate it,
but here's the truth
I felt bad
so I bought him two
two times two is thrice the fun,
I know that's bad math
but I'm not dumb
I have the fairy wrapped around my thumb
not just a finger-
they aren't lucky.
I can do anything.
four by four is just a shape,
I eat like an ape
where the fuck is my cake?
I had my last fairy baked in a cake for my dad
she was getting too old
crumble crumble

where am I from again?
hopefully a better place than I remember.
