Eren's pov

Its...quiet

We arrived back at base.

Me and Captain Levi are safe.

But...

The special ops squad is dead.

They died trying to protect me from capture

No one else is spared except me and the captain.

The female titan killed them.

I'll avenge them.

I'll avenge them all!

Just like I said before.

My goal.

Is to kill them all! Every last one!

"They're late." Captain Levi said. Interrupting my thoughts. But it's still quiet.

I'm not used to this kind of silence.

"I can't believe that good-for-nothing Erwin...making me wait. The Mps are going to get here first." Captain Levi said. Every time he says something I feel like we are always engulfed with awkward silence. I don't really know what to say to the captain.

"Most likely...he's having trouble taking a shit." Said the captain. I should be careful on what to say. He might kick my ass again like that time on court.

"Ha..Ha.." I awkwardly replied. To be honest, I'm filled up with guilt on what happened back at the expedition, which is clouding my thoughts.

"Captain....you're.....pretty talkative today..." I said, trying to stop the awkward silence, well...for me at least.

"Don't be stupid, I've always been talkative."

"....I'm sorry" By saying that, it caught the attention of the captain.

"I hadn't made the wrong choice. Things might've turned out different. Even you were injured." I said.

I care for my comrades
