It's not everyday to see Dad looking pissed at someone especially someone that close to him.

"Joel, for last time, get away from me and my son. Far away from here." Dad said to the man bluntly. He's always looked calm all the time but now, he's glaring so hard at him.

The man just laughs cheerfully. "Oh, come on! We are best friends, Kaiser. You should admit it by now!" Looking back at dad, he didn't look happy at all.

"Shut up." Dad growled lowly like a lion.

As for me, I am standing between them, watching them talking. I somehow feel like I'm out of place. Yeah, that's how I felt right now.

Should I do something to them?

I watched at my surroundings. The workers are looking so afraid as if they are gonna get kill when dad's explode.

Yeah, I should do something.

I tugged dad's pants repeatedly. "Dad, you have meeting, right? Go and finish your meeting or else, we couldn't able to get home in time!" Maddox will furious if we stayed out too long.

Slowly, dad calms down. His expression is back to normal as he sighed tiredly afterward. "Joel, if you dare tease me again, I will beat you to death." The man who called as Joel backed away with his hands up as if he is surrender from something. "There, there, you don't have to be so scary, Kaiser." He laughs nervously.

Dad sighs again.

"Do me a favor so I will forgive you again but this is the last time." Joel gulped. "Take care of Max for a bit. I am having a meeting the old man but I don't want left him alone in this unfamiliar place. So take care of my son for me while I am in the meeting." Dad told him while looking serious.

Joel's expression brighten up. "Oh! You are in the good timing! I brought my son with me here since my wife were at her family's house today! He is at the training ground right now! They will become great friends!"

Friends....I only had Kou and Maddox as my best friends but I don't think I can befriend with anyone other than them because I have hard times making one who are in the same age as me.

I tried making one last year but they have no patience with me and left me behind. Because I'm too quiet and awkward for them.

Looking at Joel, he is full of energy which dad dislikes that about him but still, dad is close to him for someone who is expressionless and cold. I think I should try once more but this time, I will succeed making one.

"Before that, I need to introduce myself properly!" The man kneed down to my height and show a big grin toward me. "The name's Joel Johnson. I may be dumb but I am an awesome knight just like your dad!" He introduced energetically as he reach out his hand to me.

I hardly shake hands with adults but he seemed patience with me.

"Nice to meet you, Joel." I grabbed his big hand and shake it.

Joel's eyes are filled excitement. "What a good mannered kid. Not only that, you are cute kid. Hey, Kaiser, you should learn to be cute from your son." Joel teases dad again as Dad glares at him once more.

Dad rolled up his sleeves. "Okay, let's go to training room right away." His face remain calm but his words are in other world.
