Third Person's POV:

It had been another three days before Aizawa finally found Izuku.

The boy was sitting on a rooftop of an abandoned building, hiding so far in the shadows that if Shota wasn't paying attention he would've missed him.

Aizawa jumped onto the building's roof and walked towards the boy.

Upon a closer look, he saw who it was and his heart stopped.

Why was he so close to the edge of the roof? Is he okay? Is he hurt?

This was questions that was running through his head. Questions he couldn't find answers to.

Walking closer, he could tell the boy was crying. About what, he didn't know.

"Izuku?"

Upon hearing his name, the boy flinched and moved closer to the edge of the roof, making Aizawa hold his breath.

"Izuku. I need you to get away from the roof please. I can't help you if you're over there. Please Izuku." It was clear by the tone of Shouta's voice that the man desperately wanted Izuku to listen to him.

Izuku just shook his head and it looked like he was getting ready to jump.

Before Shouta can say anything else, the boy began to speak.

"He was right you know. I bet that's how everyone is feeling and that the only reason I am in the hero course is so you could keep an eye on me. You don't trust me, do you? I grew up with villains and so that makes me a villain."

The boy's voice had begun to crack at the end and a choked sob escaped his mouth.

Aizawa was surprised. Where did he come up with this. Who told him that.

"Can you tell me who he is Izuku?"

"Mineta" was the instant respond from the green haired boy.

"He called me a monster. Said that I didn't deserve to be in the hero course. That it was supposed to be him and not me. He was probably right. No, he is right. I know he is. Because I am a monster."

The boy was full on crying now.

To say Aizawa was livid was a fucking understatement. Mineta better fucking hope that Aizawa has enough self control to not attack the boy when he sees him.

"Izuku listen to me. None of that is true okay? You deserve to be in the hero course as much as everyone else in that class. Yes you grew up with villains but that wasn't your choice. You were forced to stay with them, and how they treated you was sick. But that doesnt matter because you're strong Izuku. Don't listen to what Mineta or anyone else has to say. They are wrong. Just, please Izuku, just come home with me."

Aizawa pleaded with the boy. He wanted to get the boy away from the edge of the roof. He wanted the boy safe in his arms.

The boy looked at Aizawa, searching. Searching for any lies.  A small smile appeared on his face and Aizawa found himself also  smiling before it disappeared when a frown tugged at the boy's lips.

Shaking his head and continuously muttering 'no' the boy looked up at Aizawa again and said one sentence that completely broke Aizawa.

"No. No, I'm worthless and useless and a monster! I- I'm- I'm better of dead!" the boy yelled, tears streaming down his face and then proceeded to push himself off the building.

And all Aizawa could do was yell as he ran after the boy.

"NO! IZUKU!"
