As she thought, he was training on the raspberry fields when she arrived. She smiled at him as they make eye contact, and his posture relaxed just for a second before he continued with his training.
She sat down on the bench a few feet away, where she had a clear view of the field. She left the small basket on the side. Poodleberry jumped quickly to her lap the moment and she let out a small giggle, scratching the pet on one ear.
She closed her eyes, enjoying the soft breeze and the sweet smell of the flowers that grew around there. She was so relaxed she didn't notice how the sword noises had disappeared, and how soft footsteps made their way to the bench she was.
"Relaxed, Ma chérie?" A familiar voice asked, making her open her eyes. She blushed as she made eye contact with Raspberry, who was now in front of her with a soft smile.
"Yeah… I didn't even hear you" she said with a shy smile as he sat down at her side. He smiled again and gave her a quick kiss on the forehead.
"Is alright, mon trésor"
She giggled softly, her cheeks turning red once again. "Well now that you are here...I brought you something. You must be hungry of all that training" she said, taking a small snack from the basket. Raspberry accepted it with a smile and they ate in comfortable silence, just enjoying the company the other provided.
"Thank you, Ma chérie. This will help me for the rest of my training" Raspberry said as he got up. But as he turned around to make his way back he paused. He turned around again and, with a quick and elegant movement, gave one of her cheeks a kiss.
She looked at him as her cheeks turned red, a hand just where he had kissed her.
"I'll back later Mon souffle" he said with a soft gaze and a smile before turning around, this time making his way back.
She smiled his way, her heart pounding strongly. "I'll be here my love"
