Chapter thirteen

Third POV:

Chilly breeze went through National City, it was sunny day, with no clouds, The DEO was chaotic like always, supergirl has been off radars for what... 1 week? But that seemed enough for 4 major robberies, 2 alien attacks and a serious explosions through the city. They expected supergirl to show up any minute, but what did they not expect was Kara holding Lena Luthor bridal style, while her head was on Kara's shoulders, chest clutching. it was rather...hmm... interesting...

"Look who decided to finally show up" Winn smacked Kara on the head "i was worried sick!"

"Ouch!"

"Wait.. how did my smack affect you?!" He hurried to her worried

"She had a Kryptonite chip inside her" Lena answered, who was now standing next to Kara looking at her neck "and she's bleeding so Winn can you help?" IT guy went to the other room and returned with bandages

"Here" Lena took it and started to place the bandages on Kara's neck, everytime she moved a little Kara felt little pain and closed her eyes showing crinkle on her forehead. "Where have you two been! It's so difficult to handle this big mess without Supergirl, the genius scientist and a DEO director! Oh yeah about director how's Alex? Are her and Maggie having good time?" Kara shook her head

"I don't know, I didn't call her for 1 week. I was too busy being shot and kidnapped in London to call her"

"I-I'm sorry... pardon?! you were WHAT?" Lena stood between them

"No time to chitchat Winn. I need you to find info about Some guy named Corey, can you do that?" Schott blinked his eyes

"Corey? Does he have a Last name?" Lena rolled her eyes

"Yeah we don't know his last name. We just know that his Name is Corey, he is British male, tall, dark messy hairstyle and a facial hair. Oh and he is an assassin" Winn blinked even more

"Excuse me, but how in the name of universe i can find a man with only a name?"

"Yeah i know it's hard... but pleaseee? Can you at least try? He was last seen at motel in Glandmile, Michael green is it's owner, isn't that enough?"

"Oh you will owe me a big one for this Luthor" Lena nodded "okay! I'll try to find him, but don't expect the good news"

"Thanks Chewbacca" Winn clutched his chest offended

"I'm Han Solo!" Kara laughed at two of them being nerdy and geeky. She was happy Lena got along with Winn, it meant so much. Plus Winn needed partner in star wars, literally no one, no one in the friend group watched it except Lena of course. She was as geeky as he was.

"You have to buy me an award" Winn came to Kara triumphantly holding a piece of paper. They were at the DEO still, after 2 hours Kara and Lena decided to make Kara rest (only Lena decided) so they were in med bay Danvers on the bed and the Luthor next to her watching every movement she made. At Winn's sight Kara jumped off the bed happily

"Oh my god you didn't!" He smiled widely

"Oh but i did!" He gave Lena the papers
"It was really hard to find him, it took me 2 hours... but i finally found him. His name is Corey Harris, 32 years old male, he is british, was a soldier, a sniper by the way but he got fired because of selling weapons in black market, then he started to rob and soon went to jail after 2 years he escaped from it and became a professional assassin, people hired him and he got money. British police had been searching for him for entire 7 years. That guy is a pro" Kara blinked multiple times, trying to realize what Winn just said, then Lena exclaimed

"So someone hired a professional assassin who was in army and killed 30+ people and now he's chasing us? Wow i knew my luck was bad but this? Bloody brilliant" Luthor turned around to meet Kara's horrified expression "want to come to my house? I have computers and it's calm there"

"No... nothing personal but your house is plain, let's go to mine we can be comfortable there and we can rest a bit.. i can also make us something to eat?" Lena laughed

"No! Absolutely no way. Sure we can go to your's but you are not cooking for me Danvers. You cook horrible, also I don't want to see your apartment in flames again" Kara furrowed her brows

"It was only one time!" Lena laughed

"Still. I prefer to order potstickers and pizza" at the sound of potstickers Kara beamed like Christmas tree on Christmas and jumped like a child, suddenly both of them forgetting the murderer chasing them and they were just lost in their stupid silly conversation. Winn Schott watched them with pure joy, finally calm that they were on friendly terms again, being silly and stupid about little stuff. He left quietly to not interrupt two woman being happy, with one last proud glance he shut the door and turned away with happy smile.

Kara's apartment was a mess, papers and pens on the ground, chair, sofa. The papers were everywhere. TV turned on, food leftovers on the counter, and two woman both wearing glasses sitting with concerned faces, the blonde one on the ground, insisting that she doesn't get cold, she was holding a laptop trying to find every useful information, let's not forget the bowl full of potstickers next to her, she would type something in the laptop and then looked at the brunette one on the sofa, wearing black glasses and reading the papers Winn gave them. Suddenly Kara broke the silence

"You're beautiful" Lena looked at her surprised, she definitely didn't felt that coming. Kara went red realizing what she just said

"I just said that out loud didn't I?" Embarrassment washed all over her face. Lena smirked

"Oh yes you did Danvers" Kara laughed getting even more red and placing her face in her hands to hide it. Suddenly Lena's face changed, her face turned more serious as she asked "why did you kiss me?" She blurted out. Kara looked up, her face if possible getting more red.

"I-I saw that you were going to sneeze and only way for me to stop that was kissing you" Lena became more curious and asked her the thing that was on her mind all day but she didn't admit it

"Only because of that?" Kara's years looked like tomato "because i was going to sneeze?" Every inch of Kara screamed "NO! Not just because of that! Because i wanted to kiss you since the day i met you" but instead she just said

"Yes...of course. Why would i do otherwise?" Because she feared that she would lose Lena again, by creating awkwardness. But the last thing she didn't know that, by answering yes, all of Lena's body felt disappointment and sadness

"Oh, yeah of course" she said laughing awkwardly "i get it Kara, Don't worry" Kara saw cup crashing and she caught it while it was in the air. Lena looked at her in awe "good to have an alien with super speed saving your favorite cup" they laughed, and then something hit Kara in mind, her face turning serious, looked at Lena and said

"Lena do you remember when we first went to shop 1 week ago? The seller who took us to Xuan... harry or HENRY yes henry. He told us that Alyssa was his client, that every day she went to his store" Lena seemed confused yet so Kara went on "but how could she do that if Alyssa Blake was living in metropolis and the store is in the National city?" Realization hit the little Luthor

"Either she has powers, or Henry lied to us"
