"Exactly! She either has powers or Henry lied to us!" Kara exclaimed, Lena slapped herself in mind because she didn't notice this before
"Uh! How could we miss it? Like the woman lives in metropolis! And a filthy seller said she was his daily client! Ugh! I wanna kill myself for that" Lena scolded herself. Kara took her phone and checked something, then she looked at Luthor with scared eyes and whispered
"About killing... i got missed calls from Diego... he called us 50+ times! And texted, Wait I'll check" She opened the messages and started reading
Inside Kara's phone
Diego: Hey Kara, are you in London yet?
Diego: where are you going to come?
Diego: why aren't you answering to my calls?
Diego: i just saw the news that there was attack at the grand hotel, you checked there so please tell me you and Lena are okay
Diego: Kara?
Diego: you're scaring me!
Diego: Gala is in 2 days where are you!
Diego: KARA YOU'VE BEEN OFF RADARS FOR 3 DAYS!
"Oh holy Rao! The Gala i forgot!" Kara stopped reading and looked at Lena with wild eyes "this Gala means everything to Diego because of important meetings... i should be with him. Plus it's today... but also we have a case to finish. What the holy guacamole should we do?" Lena thought Kara would have a panic attack because she spoke too fast, but also kinda laughed at Kara's rambling. She placed her hand on Kara's mouth to stop her, Danvers looked at the hand, then at Lena and blushed, then shut her mouth and closed her eyes. Lena felt the red rising in her cheeks too.
"I-I uh... Kara we really need rest... you need rest, i need rest, and some time free from this case, so how about, we go on Diego's gala, and then after 2 days of good rest we can resume the case? Hm?"
Kara nodded her head, unable to speak because Lena had her hand still on her mouth, then Luthor looked at her hand and quickly let go. "Then let's go. Gala is in 2 hours" she got up and told Kara "you should change into formal outfit"

"After their talk Little Luthor went to her house to change, then called her driver and went to Kara's house, Driver was happy to see Lena happy, and he seemed surprised when Lena asked him to go to Kara's house, he knew they were fighting, leave that, all the L-Corp staff knew. Driver stopped at Kara's house happily while Luthor went upstairs and before she decided 'to knock' or 'not knock' the door opened and a woman with beautiful black dress came out, her hair was curly messy stile, she was wearing black high heels and a bag on her shoulder, she had undecided face, as if she thought, was it too much? Or too formal? Or maybe too ugly? But then she saw Lena's little bit shocked and still frozen face, she even more freaked out
"Yeah i knew it! I should go change" but before she had the chance to do that, Lena took her arm and stopped her. Only one thought raising in her mind 'you look gorgeous! Hell even breathtaking! Someone pinch me' but before she said too much, she held herself and said
"No no... you look beautiful. Let's go" instead, She didn't want Kara to think that she's some kind of psycho who thought her former best friend was breathtaking in one normal black dress and she wanted to rip that dress in pieces, now she shouldn't do that, should she?
Kara smiled and they went downstairs
