Sitting on the ground of my now empty room, I took one last look of everything I was  leaving behind. From the large window overlooking the overcrowded streets, to the dents in the wall, holding childhood memories.
Taking one last look, I got up and headed out to the car with my backpack. I was grateful, no matter how sad it was, that we were leaving. I had loved here my whole life and am exited for the change. Yes, I have to make new friends, but I think that's the best part. I will miss Ellie, but we can always FaceTime.
I was pulled away from my thoughts when Dad was finally done doing whatever it is you do when you move. He hopped in the car with the cheeriest grin, and said, " Well kids take one final look at this place, we're finally off!"
Did I forget to mention we have wanted to move for forever? I did, well I'll tell you now. When my mom and dad first moved here my Dad said, " two years then we will move", which quickly became 3, 4, 5, until 20 years later, we finally escaped.
Because of this, the drive was quite pleasant, with us all in a great mood, happy to be moving to a more secluded and mountainous place. We passes the time singing along to AJR, Alec Benjamin, and laughing together.

After 42 hours of laughing and taking turns driving we made it to Forks, Washington. We entered , and gleefully noticed how empty it was, grateful to be away from the hussle and bussle of the big city. We pulled up to our new house, and immediately I was impressed. Our last apartment was teeny tiny, so my parents really craved space, and looking at the size of this thing, space was what they got. It was like a modern wood cabin, large windows filled it, with a beautiful landscape.

Damon and I immediately got out of the car, grabbed some bags, and went inside. We skipped over the living room and kitchen, because who were we kidding, we just want to see our rooms. I followed Daman into what his would be. It had a large balcony, with a beautiful view, and it had a large queen bed, and many windows.

I left his room and ran across the hall to find my own

I left his room and ran across the hall to find my own. I gasped at how perfect it was. The bed was large and looked incredibly comfortable, and large windows lit up the space. It had a little bench near a window, and it looked like my dream room.

After our parents came in, we grabbed more of our stuff from the car, and fell asleep fast, tired after the long car ride
