You fell asleep after a talk with your mom
you wake up, check the time
it was 6 pm
you get up and check if Mar came back
his room was empty
you go down stairs to see lilo on Mar's stomach
they were sleeping on the couch
you go to the kitchen and saw your mom there

"did you talk to Mar?"

"yes its still a work in progress i did say harsh things so i dont think its gonna be easy for him to accept my apologize"

you still sigh in relief

"your step father in the other hand is really not liking whats going on"

"but we'll see how this ends up."

you nod slowly and your mom gives a hug

"it's not like you guys did anything bad you guys are young and maybe were meant to be but me and your step dad is in the way or either you guys are just not thinking right"

you stay still resting your head on your moms shoulder

"time will tell the truth and im gonna cook you wanna help me?"

you nod and your mom walks to the storage room to get ingredients
you look down and think what your mom said
then you feel a warmth from behinf
Mar, with his sleepy eyes and bed hair was hugging you and burying his face into shoulder
you could tell he was still half asleep

"im sorry"

he says and you dont get why

"for yelling at you i was really upset"

you smile slightly and run your hand through his hair and hold his hand with the other
your mom comes out from the storage room
stops and stares
Mar not knowing she was there kisses your neck and looks up
right as he sees your mom he jumps back into the corner of the kitchen
you all just stare at eachother

your mom smiles and hands you vegetables and whispers to you

"does he atleast treat you right?

you smile widely and nod fast
she looks at mar and smiles

"come now you cook the meat"

"me???"

Mar says confused

"no i was talking to lilo(rolling eyes) yes you"

you laugh with your mom

1 hour later

you guys finish cooking and finished getting the table ready
you guys talk and laugh
You and Mar even tell some events that happened to two to Mom

"I didnt like the girl anyways, what's her name... Alisa?"

you and Mar laugh
it was so unreal
it felt unreal
we were laughing all together
no secrets
but Mar becomes silence and a few minutes later asks where his dad is

"he..i actually have no idea he didnt talk to me this morning"

"i just hope he doesn't come home drunk"

"no he wouldnt your father promised me that he would quit after we get married"

"tsk he promises alot of things"

after dinner

you and mar watch a movie in the living room cuddling while your mom takes a shower
We hear someone outside the door struggling to get in
you 2 stare at the door
you hear laughs and the door finally opens
your step dad looking completely wasted holds a young looking women in his hands
you in shock sits up immediately
Mar looking not surprised just sighs
and right then your mom walks out of the room
and stares at them

"really?"

you heard the hurt in your moms voice
and look at her
you can tell she was about to burst out in tears

"i really believed you i thought you would stop with your drinking and cheating but wow didnt know you would be so brave and bring a bitch to the house"
