Claire

"Wha.."

I opened my eyes to see a bright cream room. Lilies by the window and a tired Chan sleeping on the couch. "Christopher?" I chuckled softly at the sight.

It was dusk and the sliding door to the balcony is open. I couldn't stand up, I peeked at the open door. Felix was sleeping while sitting. He had a thin blanket around himself as he shivered. Is he out of his mind? Why is out in the cold?!

"Claire?" I heard Chan's sleepy voice. "Thank goodness." He seemed relieved as he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Why the hell is he outside?" I pointed at the balcony. Chan squinted at the direction. "Oh."

"Get him inside before he gets sick." I told my brother to wake Felix up. He did what I asked and woke up the other male. I properly sat up as Felix got inside. "Morning." He murmured as he went to the couch, wrapped around his thin blanket.

"Morning too." I replied back. "Can you two explain what hell is going on before I beat your asses one by one."

The two males exchanged glances. "Claire-"

"Good morning!" A doctor came inside with a cheeky grin on his face. "I see Ms. Bang is awake. Are you feeling okay?" He proceeds on checking my vitals and asking how I woke up. "I guess you're good to go as soon those papers are done." Dr. Suh held his clipboard. He took a glance at the sleepy males.

"The burn didn't damage your leg, Ms. Bang but it will scar."

"No worries. Thank you Dr. Suh." I smiled at the tall doctor before he left me alone with the 2.

"Chan? Where's mom?" I held on Felix's shoulder as I got inside the house. Chan just jumped out of the car and left me alone.

"I don't know what's up with your brother." Felix answers. "He's been staying awake hours ago. He only slept when I told him to do so." He said as he set me down on the couch. He was about to kneel down but Hannah came in yelling. He quickly stood up and walked towards the kitchen. "I'm going to get walk."

"Lucas could you help Felix oppa?" Hannah yelled.

"Unnie! What.. what in the world?!" She looked at my bandaged wound. She quickly removes my shoes. "I got a call from oppa that you burned yourself at the university by Seungmin!"

Did Chan lied to Hannah? He's pointing at the wrong person. Seungmin is a sane guy and he would not possibly hurt someone by spilling boiling water on my leg by accident. "Don't answer." Hannah stopped me from speaking.

"O..okay?" I replied lowly. Chan came out from his room with his phone up at his ear. He seemed to be calling someone. Hannah quickly went to her room to get me some things. Felix came out from the kitchen as he heard Chan in the living room.

"I told you, he's after him. Yes, we went to Na's hospital." Chan was blabbering. Felix's face looked serious as he listened to my brother's rambling. "I can't have him killed. You can't ask me to kill, He's right here beside me."

What the actual fuck Chan?!

Felix still remained unfazed by what he heard. "Felix." I called him which he reacted. "What are you?"

His eyes went cold, the ones I've encountered ever since he came back. "A monster." He replies shortly.

I asked Hannah to take to me to my room. "I can help you-"

"It's okay Felix. You seemed like you need to do something." I smiled back even it was painful. Chan was even confused of how I reacted. He would be expecting that I'll cling on Felix once again. I was just at shock and I wanted time to think alone.

I never saw Felix's face after that day.

or more like I avoided him for real.

Chan would try to talk to me but I avoided his chances every time he had. It was timely that my exams were coming up and I had to stay in my room to study. Was I even studying or just plainly ignoring them completely. Jeongin didn't seem to noticed about it. Jisung was getting busier and he couldn't join us with lunch anymore.

"Mom said I can drive." Chan got his car back.

"That's cool." I nodded as I got inside his black pick up.

"Can we stop this? I know you're bothered." He closed the door. "Claire please.."

"I am bothered for three weeks straight. Happy?" I had days before the exams and now I'm pretty much stressed with the past incident. "I'm sorry. I guess I wasn't being careful." Chan sighed as he turned on the engine.

"Where are we even going?" I glanced at him.

"Telling you everything." He steered the wheel to a location I was familiar with.
