2 months later...

"Okay everybody, they're at the gate!" Y/N excitedly said.

Yes, Terrel was finally coming home. By the grace of God, he stopped relying on the machines and was able to breathe on his own, even though he still experienced shortness of breath, he was being heavily monitored for it.

They decided to have the welcome party at Odell's house because Y/N recently had her house painted and that wouldn't mix with Terrel's situation, so he would be living with Odell for the time being.

Louis was back to his bubbly self, barely being able to contain his excitement for his brother.

"Hiding positions, hiding positions!" Y/N instructed, as everyone followed.

She had all his friends and their family come over. Even William was here, only because Y/N insisted, of course.

"Pop, I already got two crutches, I promise I have all the support I need," Terrel argued as Odell firmly held his waist from the back.

"Yeah, until you slip and fall in them slides. Then it's 'Pop, I need your help'." Odell responded as they shared a laugh.

Odell had everyone park in the backyard, seeing that it was big enough, so that Terrel wouldn't suspect a thing.

He carefully opened the door, letting Terrel walk in first. He put the duffel bag down as they walked down the hallway and into the living area.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled and Terrel tilted his head back, laughing.

"Awww." He cooed and greeted everyone.

His friends first, then the fam and lastly, Y/N and Louis. Y/N got teary eyed all over again.

"Aww, my baby!" Y/N cooed back and squeezed the life out of him.

He let out a small cough, making Y/N quickly pull back. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm just sooo excited!"

"It's okay Ma. I'm happy to see you too, and please stop crying. You cried enough at the hospital." He comforted her.

"I'm just glad you're okay." She smiled back, allowing him some space.

"Wassup uncle Will." He greeted William as they hugged gently.

"It's good to see you back to your usual and healthy self, Terrel." He smiled.

"And now I don't have to feel bad for roasting you," Louis interrupted, making his brother laugh.

"Louis!" Y/N playfully pushed him.

"I'll let you have this one, lil bro."

Everyone was having a good time and everyone was really happy to see Terrel healing and getting nursed back to health once again. As for Y/N, she eventually signed the divorce papers because truth be told, she was happy again... and dating William. She assumed that she was on good terms with Odell but in all actuality, he kind of wished she didn't sign the papers. He could see the chemistry William and Y/N had but decided to push his feelings aside because he and Y/N were finally beginning to handle the situation better.
