A lot had happened in the two months that had passed by and no rogue attacks had taken place which was quite surprising. Of course, we kept our normal safety measures in the case that anything had to happen in the blink of an eye.
Apart from that, the pregnancy was going well. Izuku was now three months along and was showing as expected. Even though he was only halfway through the pregnancy, his stomach was protruding rather greatly. I liked it though. Especially how he would waddle around and sometimes try to pick up small things that had fallen on the floor.
We didn't have much to do today, which we had all gotten done in the early hours of the day so now that it was three in the evening and we were free to do what we pleased, Izuku and I had decided to leave the packhouse for a while, not venturing far. We were still on our land but still away so that we could be alone together.
My eyes averted to the Omega who was resting his head on my lap. Izuku was in wolf form while I was in my human form. He had told me that it made it easier on his back so here he was, in the said form, and letting out quite a few purrs as I rubbed his stomach.
I noticed how his eyes were closing so I asked, "Are you sleepy?" As if he had heard me, Izuku's eyes quickly snapped open, the viridescent irises staring up at me as he gave a huff.
✦🐺A little bit.🐺✦ A smile formed on my face against my will when I realised that he gave a small yawn. The Omega didn't seem like he was making any plans on moving so I shrugged, continuing to rub his stomach as I looked at the birds flying by.
✦🐺But I'm more hungry than sleepy.🐺✦ He continued with a hum, standing up as steadily as he could before letting out another yawn. ✦🐺Oh, can I have katsudon with chocolate?🐺✦ The Omega sounded hopeful and somewhat looked like he was salivating as he wagged his tail at his prior words. I raised an eyebrow at the food choice but learned not to question it. The last time I did, it took days before I could see my mate again because he locked himself in my sister's room until he was ready to be scented again.
"Let's head back then." Izuku nodded. Getting ready to leave, I took off my clothes and placed them in the bag that was wrapped around my waist, not taking a second longer as I shifted, walking close to my Omega as we started to head back.
Izuku would occasionally nudge me and I would do the same back but not enough that it would cause him to stumble like we once did. He was alright with it though because then he would let out a huff and rub his fur against mine before trotting along.
