Chapter 4: Never Trust a Snake

Zane bumps his head on the bed above him as he awakens.

"Morning Zane" Wu said, walking into the room

"greetings Master" Zane greeted

"We are not safe with Lloyd and the Serpentine on the loose" Wu tells him

"where are the others?" Zane questions

"they are training on the upper deck" Wu informs him

When Zane arrives on the deck, he notices the Falcon and begins talking to it. The Falcon then flies off, and as the shadow of Lord Garmadon approaches, Zane turns around and questions him. Lord Garmadon tells him that he has returned to retrieve the Golden Weapons, pulling out two silver katanas and rushing into battle.

After Zane dodges him, Lord Garmadon demands the Shurikens of Ice, throwing him into a trash heap upon refusal. Lord Garmadon cuts a rope holding a heavy crate, but before it could fall on Zane, the Green Ninja appears, lifting the box and throwing it overboard.

Zane looks over to see the Purple Ninja fighting against Lord Garmadon. The Green Ninja rushes over to help. Together they defeat him. Zane wonders who the Green Ninja is as the Falcon flies above the mysterious figures, the entire deck covers with falcons. 

Zane wakes up, hitting his head on the top bunk of the bed.

"Oh, sleeping in. You're gonna be late for training" Jay said

"Oh, how come no one awakened me?" Zane questioned

We didn't think you wanted us to. You looked like you were having a dream" Kai replied

Zane looked around "How do I know this isn't a dream—"

Zane gets hit in the face with a pillow by Cole "Does that feel like a dream?"

"No. Thank you for your help" Zane said and they laughed

They go on the deck.

"Hehe. Little slow today, huh? What exactly did you dream about?" Kai asked

"I saw the Falcon again" Zane replied

"Whoa. Zane, every time you see that bird, something big happens. First, it lead you to the secret tree house" Jay said

"Then it lead you to the Bounty" Cole added

Wu walked out

"All right. Stretches. First, the Swooping Crane" Wu faces away from the Ninja to demonstrate a stretch.

Zane whispered "This time, it showed me the Green and Purple ninja"

"The Green Ninja?" Cole, Jay, and Kai exclaimed a bit too loudly

Wu looked back to see the three in different poses "That looks like the Shocked Monkey. Bad form, more focus" He, again, faces away.

"You can't just drop a bomb like that. Spill the beans" Jay whispered

"Yeah, what else did you see?" Kai asked still whispering

"They were fighting Lord Garmadon" Zane whispered

"That's what the prophecy said. That together the Green and Purple Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord. But did you have a chance to see which of us was them?" Kai whispered

"I could not tell. They shared attributes each of us possess" Zane whispered

"Now, Pinching Crab" Wu instructed and they changed poses.

Kai looked at Zane "Well, tell us everything. And don't spare any details. There has to be a clue that tells us which one of us is gonna be the Nin—" Wu pulls on his hair "Ow, ow, ow! Hey!"
