GENEVIEVE STRUGGLED TO PULL HERSELF out of bed after the first night at Hogwarts. Her only reason being she wanted breakfast before classes. Though the school beds were comfortable, nothing would ever beat her bed at home, matched with the welcoming smile of her father with a mug of hot chocolate. She dragged herself out of bed and out the dorm as quietly as possible, not to wake the four sleeping girls and made her way to the washrooms to shower away the tiredness.

Upon returning however, the other four girls were awake, Lily having already disappeared and Dorcas helping Marlene with her tie, Mary watching in amusement. Genevieve smirked at the girls before dropping her pyjamas under her pillow and grabbing her wand from her table. She left the room quickly in search of the boys.

It didn't take to long to find Remus, who was sat on one of the couches in front of the fire, book in hand. An unfamiliar boy was sat beside him. Genevieve quickly joined him, sitting to his left and knocking him with her elbow. He greeted her with a smile as she nodded in reply.

"Di'yer have a goo' firs' night?" She asked him, the sleepiness still evident in her voice.

He laughed slightly, nodding. "Yeah, I'm in a room with James and Sirius, which is good." He laughed more at her disgruntled reaction. She quickly shook it off though before signalling to the young boy near Remus. "Oh, sorry. Gen, this is Peter Pettigrew."

"The other hat stall?" She asked him. Peter looked down embarrassed by the title he had been given. "Nae nee' to get all tomato face' abou' it. I were one too." She assured him. "Nice to meet yer, Genevieve, call me Gen." He shook the hand she held out to him nervously.

"Hi."

"Is it alright if he comes round with us?" Remus asked nervously. Genevieve laughed waving her hand to him.

"Dinnae worry abou' it, sure yer can Peter." She assured. Peter smiled gladly at her. "So where are the other muppets?" She changed her attention to Remus.

"Still asleep I think." Genevieve's face dropped quickly.

"I'll kill 'em." She replied darkly. "I will genuinely kill 'em." Remus' eyes grew at the reaction.

"Let's go get breakfast before Gen decides to commit crime." He decided closing his book. Pulling Genevieve up by her outstretched hand, the three children made their way to the Great Hall.

"D'yer remember which way it were?" Genevieve asked Remus.

He shrugged. "We'll find it."

With assistance of some older students, the three of them found the Great Hall. The overwhelming smell of food hit Genevieve's nostrils as they entered. She sat across the boys, grabbing three rounds of toast and jam.
