Chap 7

"Old Woman give me back my son or I will stab you." Angrily, Geo said.

Maybel frowns.
"How dare you threatene in my own home? You, you are just a lowly Gent! I am Wally's mom!"

Geo snickers.
Alli is a troublemaker in their villager.
That is why nobody attempt to marry him.
He is also good for nothing and has thick face. So why would she give face to Wally's step mother?

Seeing an opening.
Geo runs and pushes the older woman down and snatch the baby that is stuff in the basket like a doll.
She lulled the baby softly.
The baby feels the familiar rhythm and fell asleep because he is really tired.

Anger, Geo looks at the struggling woman to stand up.

"I can't stand up. I can't stand up! I sprain my bone. You bastard! Help me. Help me."

Geo glares at her and kicks her face.

The woman is shock.
How can someone hurt an old woman?

Normal people, maybe they can't.
An assassin like Geo can.
He can kill anyone as long as they are not important to him.
But he is not a blood thirsty murderer.
He won't kill as mich as possible.
But people like this should really suffer.

The woman who is trying to pretend weak angrily stood up and wife the blood flowing down her nose.

"Murderer! Neighbor! Neighbor help me! Someone wants to murder me!" The old woman runs outside their wooden gate and shout.

The baby frowns and move a bit.

Geo lulled him again.
When the baby is settled back he glares at the old woman's back who is still screaming.
The other villagers are comforting her and scolding Alli.

Geo went out of the wooden gate and the old Maybel grabs his pants.

"How can you treat me like this? I am the one who take care of Wally growing up. How can you try to kill me?"
The old woman looks really sincere and pitiful.

Geo kicks her again.

One of the teenager catch thr old woman.

"You! How dare you do that?" He shouted at him.

Geo glares at him.

Leon moves again so he rocks him gently.

"Lower your voice. Or I will kick you too." He said angrily.
He doesn't have any patience for ancient drama.
He hates talking too much and explaining.

"How could you say that?"

"What is your conscience made of?"

"You even harm the elderly! You are so evil!"
The woman shouted again.

Geo laughs.
"The One above is alive. He will see the truth. He will bring justice to me. Tomorrow, you will be cursed for trying to steal my son." Geo said and laugh then turn around.

"We are not done yet!" The man shouted

"Everyone that speak up for the evil one will also be punish. Wait for your punishment." He said and snorts.

The women all gather and hold hands.

"He is talking nonsense. He kicks me and done evil. I will call the chief to ask him to compensate me." Maybel shouted seeing them feel gloomy and scared

The man who helps her frown.
Every time, this old woman always done this kind of trick then take money from Wally.
They all felt bad with Wally.
They really shouldn't take Old Maybel's side.
The ladies and the man left.

Wally saw the house clean and there's no one inside.
Yet there is a basket full of wild mushroom and vegetables and some critters tied on the floor that casually thrown.

If before, Wally won't find it strange.
But now he felt a forbodding.
Alli cleans the house better than him.
He will not live things like this without a reason.

Wally went out and heard an old Auntie said Alli went out angry carrying a long knife to his parent's home.
He immediately run.

He find Alli half way.
He is carrying the baby tenderly and his face is dark and ugly.

"What happen?"
Wally asks.

Geo raises his head and see Wally.

"Husband!" Geo never had anyone that supports him.
He is an independent person and only cares about himself.
But now is different.
Seeing Wally makes his angry heart relieve.

Wally walks to them and support his shoulder.

"Did my step mother harm you?"

"She took Leon while I am away. When I went back Leon is in a dirty basket and she lets him cry. The baby's voice is hoarse. His skin is red too. I think Leon was beaten by small ants." Geo narrates what happened and wants to lean toward Wally but they are walking uphill and it is a bit awkward to walk while cuddling.

Geo gave up and walks straight.

Wally is angry but seeing Alli's angry face makes him a bit move and distress and angry.

"She is really bad." Wally said.
They went inside the house and Wally gather her to his arms and hug him.

Geo flinched and smiles.

"Wait. I have to change Leon's clothes. Get me a warm water and a clean towel. I will wipe him to make sure there's no small ants left before changing." Geo said so Wally release him.

The two work fast.

"I will go to the town and buy baby's formula.
It is expensive but It is better than leaving him unattented. We can't expect others to take care of him." Wally said.

Geo nods and sigh.
He wipes the baby's cheek.
"I will listen to you."

Wally looks at him and also sit on the bed behind him.
Wally slip his arms around his waist.

"Thank you. You are so good to us."

Geo blushes.
His body is heating up.
"Hmm."
He really like his skin and warmth.
Always making him assume.

Wally sighs feeling his tightening muscles.
He can't startle his wife.
He stands up.
"I will cook our lunch."

Geo blinks.
"Um.."
He wants him to stay a bit more.
He likes his smell, his warmth and tbe reaction of his own body toward Wally.
But the man sure knows how to ruin the atmosphere.

Geo wants to angrily scream but the baby just fell asleep and sleeping soundly now so he can only grind his teeth and try calming his angry nerves.
