The PerfectDiversity campaign was created to get more diverse works out on Wattpad in time for next year's Wattys. What we want to see is a bunch of stories with diverse themes and concepts dominating the biggest annual writing contest of the year.
The campaign will be a mix of Open Novella Contest and National Novel Writing Month where a list of prompts will be given out and the goal is to write a story utilizing said prompts. The difference is that the prompts will be provided a few weeks before the campaign kicks off for those who want to do a little planning. Another difference is that instead of writing a novella, you will need to write a novel with a minimum of 50,000 words.
Perfect Diversity will run from the beginning of November to the end of December to help accommodate NaNoWriMo participants as well. If you want to join both NaNoWriMo and Perfect Diversity at the same time, you are free to do so.
