ARMY LEFT SEETHING AFTER GEORGE LEE DATING SPECULATION

George squinted his eyes and leaned closer to his phone to read the headline again. Dating speculation? Army has been left seething? He was beyond confused.

The boys had been on set for the Stay Gold music video when Taehyung informed him of a recent article about him. He hadn't thought anything of it at first and pushed it off until they got a break, but as he opened up Twitter to see his name trending, he couldn't help but feel his stomach drop.

Army was indeed seething whilst others speculated on who his 'mystery woman' could be. Some said Hwasa, a few thought that it was a Blackpink member but the majority thought that it was Chaeri, pulling up multiple threads of evidence ranging from them holding hands, to laughing to George giving her his jacket.

"They think it's Chaeri," He announced to his members, running a hand through his hair. "She's literally my best friend. I'm not even dating anyone, where has this even come from?"

The boys were just as confused as he was. George hadn't given any indication to anyone that he was dating, so where the hell had the rumour stemmed from? He shifted in his seat so that he was leaning forward as he scrolled through the many tweets, cringing when he saw the hate and threats towards multiple idols who they believed to be dating him, though the hate mainly fell back on Chaeri.

Taehyung slid into the seat beside George and peered over his shoulder nodding slightly. "Off-topic but she's cute."

George glanced at him with a blank face.

"What? It was just an observation."

George rolled his eyes and headed into the group chat and as expected, Chaeri was freaking out, Charlie was trying to calm her down and Chaehyun was threatening to clothesline a sasaeng.

George decided to take an easier approach than texting by pressing the call button and much to his surprise, the three connected to the call on the second ring. A tear-stained Chaeri appeared along with a concerned Charlie and Chaehyun, who was stuffing his face with toast.

"Morning lads-wait Chaeri is crying," Chaehyun greeted, dropping his toast immediately and leaning closer to the screen.

"No shit sherlock, she's literally being attacked online," George told him with a sigh, running his hand through his hair. "Rinnie, I am so sorry. I don't even know how this rumour got started, I am going to get this fixed immediately. Fuck, I'm so sorry."

She shook her head and gave him a forced smile. "This isn't your fault, don't worry about it. I just don't understand why they're assuming it's me?"

"You have a very close relationship with George, you're very touchy with each other and sometimes it does come across as more but everyone knows that George is single, dude literally rejected Hwasa," Charlie explained, confusion and sympathy swirling around his eyes.

George ran a hand through his hair, earning a glare from his stylist but that was the least of his worries as of now. Chaeri wiped beneath her eyes and let out a small sigh.

"Honestly, I feel sorry for your future partners because the threats I've received today are terrifying," she mumbled with a sigh as she threw her hair up into a ponytail.

"They need to get used to the fact that we're grown men, who will fall in love eventually. We're humans and as much as I adore them, they can be too much. It's all just speculation and yet your life has been threatened."

George was pissed. Yeah, the rumours weren't true but that doesn't mean in the future they won't be.

"I have to go film, but I'll fix this, yeah? Don't worry."

She nodded her head and gave him a soft smile. "Thank you, George."

"By the way, Taehyung thinks you're cute."

"Wait wha-"

"OKAY BYE BYE!" With that, he ended the call and turned to Taehyung who was glaring at him. George shot him an innocent smile. "What? I did nothing."

Taehyung scoffed. "I hate you."

George flicked his imaginary long locks and threw on an innocent grin. "You hate me 'cause you ain't me, baby."

"No, i hate you because you're a nuisance," Jungkook commented.

George only blew him a kiss in response as he slid into the chair in front of his stylist who had to redo his hair for the third time.

"George, I'm going to make some calls, we'll fix this situation," his manager informed him with a small smile.

He nodded his head. "Thank you."

With the situation in safe hands, George felt more at ease, however, he was hoping the statement would wake up the delusional fans who thought they owned him and his members. He was his own person and so was his boys. Things needed to change and he was hoping that people would start to understand.

i have been uploading a lot recently, purely because i've got my motivation back, i have been really enjoying writing and always get excited to publish, so i apologise if the constant uploads are a bit overwhelming, i just really have been enjoying it recently.
