"Chloe," I hear lucifers voice, softly as he places his hand on my arm and shakes lightly
I smile lightly, biting my lip with excitement.

"Good morning," I whisper, opening my eyes slowly
"Oh my god, lucifer!" I exclaim, realizing he's nude, squeezing my eyelids back shut

"What- Oh, my fault. Sorry!" He chuckles, I feel him turn around,
I secretly peek open my eyes.
He's so god damned handsome.
God damned, get it?

"Detective, your drooling." Lucifer jokes, turning back to face me

"I wasn't even looking at you- I was just looking around." I lie

"Oh, were you?" Lucifer asks, raising his eyebrows as he pulls his pants up.

I roll my eyes standing up
"What time is it?" I ask, changing the subject

"We leave for work in fifteen minutes!" He replies, excitement riddled in his voice

"Lucifer! You should've woke me up earlier- I don't even have enough time to shower and I still have to get Trixie ready and-"

"Calm down, detective!" Lucifer chuckles, "I've got Mazikeen taking care of it. You deserve your beauty sleep- not that you need it of course."

"Great a demon getting my child ready for school." I grunt,
That was unfair, I made Maze do it when lucifer was gone. She was more of a parent than me.

"She's done worse, she promised to be responsible." He tells me,

I abandoned Trixie.
"What's wrong?" He asks, furrowing his brows at me

"Do you think I'm a bad mom?" I ask, quietly

"Wha- is course not. Why would you think that?" He asks, stupidly

"I abandoned her, because I felt bad for myself. I left her with Maze." I whisper, "I abandoned my daughter, Lucifer."

He looks at me with pity, and a little frustration.

"You're not a bad mom Chloe," he says, taking a seat beside me on the bed.
"Trixie understands. I'm sorry I made you feel like you had to do that." He whispers

"You didn't do it, I did it to myself." I admit, shrugging

"How about tonight we take Trixie out to dinner?" Lucifer asks, I raise my eyebrows

"Like, you and I? Together?" I ask

"Why not? Then we can play some board games after or catch a movie?" He offers, I smile widely

"That would be so great Lucifer, thank you." I say wrapping my arms around his neck, embracing him.

Lucifer and I get dressed and head to his car, making plans for tonight, and talking about what the precinct will think about his return.
What Ella will think.

"She's gonna rip your head off," I laugh lightly

"I believe she would try," he replies, smirking
"I've missed Ella." He says with a smile

"Yeah, she's missed you too." I reply shortly
"We all have,"

Lucifer looks over at me in shock, as he stops walking
"I didn't tell you how much I've missed you." He states, I shrug

"It's not a big deal, we don't have to do that right now." I reply

"Chloe, I seen Malcolm in hell." He admits, I stop

"What did you do?" I ask

"nothing," he replies, I raise my eyebrows
"I didn't do anything. I was going to rip his head off and let the demons tear him limb from limb- but I didn't. I thought about you." He pauses, looking at me
"You told me that I know what's right and wrong, and I can be good. Malcolm was already in hell, so I figured that's enough punishment."

I reach my hand up behind his neck, pulling him closer to me,
And I kiss him.

I feel butterflies in my stomach as we pull away for breath, resting his forehead on mine as he looks into my eyes.
"I missed you so damn much," he says

"I know." I smile
