RYUJIN'S POV

I can't believe that Lee Chaeryeong just left me with this imbecile. I glared at him, and he was just looking down on his hot drink. I'm not even sure if it was still hot, it's been thirty minutes since he ordered that.

Wait— thirty minutes? I'm here with Choi for thirty minutes straight, and I still haven't left this shop. I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"I'm leaving," I said, and went out of the shop.

While walking, I was thinking about that stupid Choi Beomgyu. He didn't even think about following me? I mean for heaven's sake, he wouldn't even apologize to me?

Okay, who am I kidding? Why am I even needing his apology right now? He's like that, a callous simpleton, and it looks like he wouldn't change a single thing about him.

Then, I remembered him crying on my shoulders. Like he was the most fragile person I've ever met.

Well, I guess he's not as cold-hearted as I used to think he— wait what?

I got outside the mall, and it was cold. Goodness, I want to go back to my house so bad.

I was about to ring our house bell when I felt a cold hand on my wrist. I got goosebumps and was ready to punch this guy or girl behind me. But then, the person spoke.

"Ryujin." His voice wasn't the same. His voice was hoarse, and it was Choi.

"What are you doing?" I asked him with an eyebrow raised.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

"Uhm no? You're not welcome in my house" I said as I shook his hands off me.

"In my house?" He said.

I looked at him with heavy eyes, showing him that I'm not interested in talking to him.

"Please?" He said.

I rolled my eyes, and ended up being inside his house, talking to the most annoying person.

"What do you want?" I straight up asked him.

"Nothing. I just want to..." He said, prolonging the last word.

I rolled my eyes and waited for him to speak up. I waited for 25 seconds, yet he didn't utter a single word.

"Okay, thanks for wasting my time," I said and left his house. He didn't even bother.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket. It was a message from my dad.

아빠 (Dad): Your mom and I went out for a bit. You have your keys right?

I felt cold sweat as I read my dad's question.

I don't have my keys.

I went back, stomping to his living room. I looked at him, and he looked at me as well. I groaned in annoyance, and sat 3 feet away from him, on the couch where he was sitting on.
